How to unlock the Kung Fu Fighting achievement in RESIDENT EVIL 5 - Definitive Guide

Here's how to damage Wesker enough to get the Achievement. It is a pretty easy achievemnt and this method was done on Amateur difficulty.

#1 - Fire at Wesker twice from across the room, he will charge at you

#2 - Dodge his attack (It can either be X or A, but on Amateur the button press is always X)

#3 - At this point, either you or your partner can attack him (X for Jill, B for Chris) depending on which character you are

Note: If you miss the dodge opportunity, if your partner attacks Wesker, he will block it and will not take damage.

#4 - It takes about 3-4 hits on Amateur to get the achievement.

You can actually press both X and A at the same time on amateur - veteran to always get perfect dodges. This trick doesn't work on professional, though.

Just did this with Chris on single player. Received the point bonus, Wesker ended the fight in less than one minute and I didn't get the achievement. That's the reason people play baby games, we don't have to deal with this kind of bullshit on those.

Set the AI to attack if you're doing this single player. This will let your partner leave your side so you can actually get distance from Wesker to get the charge attack that you can counter. On the cover setting I couldn't for the life of me get my partner or Wesker off of my butt.

Just to clarify. It’s 5 hits on Wesker in amature. You will know when you have done it as you are awarded a score star and he ends the level early as you p**s him off. Cheev will then pop here.
If you take to long the level will end automatically. I suggest that you pause and restart (takes you to last check point, this being the start of the fight) and try again should you run out of MMO or are taking too long to get 5

This sounds difficult but it can be done on any difficulty. Amateur may be the best difficulty for most people to complete this but Normal will give you more of a chance if you are having issues. Wesker will run off very soon into your fight on Amateur.

1). Fire at Wesker twice from across the room, he will charge at you

2). Dodge his attack (It can either be or depending on the difficulty.

3). At this point, either you or your partner can attack him ( for Jill, for Chris) depending on how which character you are

Keep repeating this process until Wesker decides to run from you. You won't be able to control your character at this point.

Note: If you miss the dodge opportunity, your partners attack on Wesker will cause him to block. If he blocks he won't suffer any damage from your partner.

You must damage Wesker a set amount of times in his battle. There's no way to know the amount of damage you deal; you must simply pray you do enough by the battle's end. Every so often a quick cutscene will ensue when fighting Wesker which shows him preparing for an attack, thus initiating a QTE. If you successfully dodge and then approach Wesker, press the button, and you will inflict damage (Wesker sometimes blocks it, however it still counts). Sometimes no cutscene will play and the game will spring a QTE on you randomly. Whenever a friend is attacked by Wesker similarly and fails to dodge via the QTE. It is possible for the partner to approach Wesker and press to attack him. All these count towards inflicting damage.

In order to obtain this Trophy, you need to beat Wesker during the fight at the end of the DLC.

This can be done on any difficulty, however, it will naturally be easier to do on Amateur or Normal. The best method is to fire at Wesker twice, this prompts him to rush towards you and you must press either Square or X, whichever one is random. Hitting the correct button will dodge his attack and he will be open to a physical attack of your own. Once you are finished with your attack, put some distance between yourself and Wesker before he can retaliate. Repeat this process until Wesker kneels on the ground and you are rewarded points to the Score, this means you have dealt enough damage to finish the fight.

If you are able to co-op with someone they too can physically attack Wesker during his vulnerability after dodging his rush attack. This fight can be extremely easy with another person.

The trophy shall unlock just after Wesker rushes to the window following your points.

During the battle with Wesker, we attract his attention to ourselves with 3-4 shots, then we dodge his attack on and give him an uppercut . For a beginner, 3-4 times will be enough.

If you play on Veteran difficulty, then to avoid Wesker’s attacks you need to press buttons or .
When Wesker prepares to attack, spam + - 100% avoidance of impact. Then quickly counterattack .

This tactic doesn't work on Professional difficulty! You need to press the desired button very quickly and clearly.

Provoke Wesker into melee attacks by running away from him. The main thing is that if you are playing with a person, ask him not to shoot at him, even when he hits you. If, for example, you do not dodge the first attack and are lying down, then after you dodge (and I think you will dodge) the second attack with a kick, you have the opportunity to hit him, ideally at the same time as your partner. Also, a knife works well if you cut from all sides.
