How to unlock the Who Do You Trust? achievement in RESIDENT EVIL 5 - Definitive Guide

I found it easy to load up Chpater 4-1. Make your AI partner have no items. Right near the beginning of the Chapter, a bunch of spiders will spawn. Let the spiders keep grabbing you and your AI partner will knock them off. Thank them with the B button everytime they do it. Should take about 10 to 15 spiders and the achievement should unlock. Takes less than 5 minutes.

Wouldn't work for me because Chris would always kill them with the knife anyways.

I did it in veteran difficulty and spamming B so Chris doesnt kill the spiders :D

can confirm spamming B helps.. keep going in the level and there are multiple groups to get this on - I don't think a restart is required

Whenever Sheva or your partner gives you a herb, or heals you in any fashion, whether or not you're "DYING" or "HELP" , press cn_B on your controller immediately during the action to say thanks and acknowledge her for it. Once you've done this 10 times, the achievement will unlock.

Difficulty: Easy

This is earned for thanking your partner after reviving you or giving you an item with cn_O.
There appears to be some disagreement about when this should unlock, but if you play on your own and thank Sheva directly after she revives you from near death, heals you, or gives you items (you have to request them first) you should get this before the end of your first playthrough.

You can force this by slashing a transformer at the end of the first mission until you're dying and letting Sheva heal you multiple times. Just remember to thank her right after and load her with health items before you attempt this.

Note: Chris will say "Thanks" if you're thanking her in time, but if you do it too late he'll just shout "Come on".

Your partner's trust level increases when you press to thank them for performing certain actions such as healing you or giving you items. If you started the game on amateur or normal it is very unlikely that you will unlock this on your first playthrough unless you purposely injure yourself a lot.

In the unlikely event that you still haven't obtained this trophy after completing professional difficulty, you can purposely attack the transformer at the beginning of 1-2 with your knife to drain your health. Before starting the level, fill your partner's inventory up with herbs. Swipe at the transformer by pressing and until your health hits critical levels and wait for your partner to come over. After you've been healed, press to thank them. Rinse and repeat until the trophy is yours.

If you want this very quickly, load Sheva and yourself up with only healing items (buy spray cans if needed), then load Chapter 1-2 and shoot the transformer to the ground. Stand next to it and knife it to hurt yourself so she runs over and heals you. After she heals you, press to say "Thanks!" and her trust will go up. Repeat this until you get the achievement.

Every time your partner gives you health, ammo, saves you (or vise versa) press the action button to thank them. Doing this enough times will earn you the achievement.

The easiest silver in the game. Whenever Sheva gives you items or heals you, thank her. To do this, click on the button .

The trophy can only be obtained in a solo playthrough. The online co-op version of the game will not work. Everything here is elementary simple: always say thank you ( button ) AI partner for everything he does (heals you, shares ammo, injects adrenaline, successfully kills enemies).

If we always say thank you to Sheva from the very beginning of the game, then we will get it just in time for the chapter where we first meet the truck coming towards us.

There are several things to do here:

1. Thank your partner for curing you

2. Thank your partner for giving you ammo

3. Thank your partner for the adrenaline rush

4. When you save your partner and he says thank you, you also need to respond.

5. When a partner knocks out a dead man's brains with a headshot, say "Nice shot!"

To do these things, press Circle. The easiest way is to press Circle when any action occurs with your partner, even if you don’t start thanking your partner at first, then after multiple shootouts with zombies you will press Circle on a subconscious level.
