How to unlock the Completed Chapter 2 - 2 achievement in Resident Evil 5 - Definitive Guide
This mission isn't too much of a challenge really.
The mounted turret is easy to defeat if you use a rifle and headshot the gunner from the top of the nearby building.
The only other obstacle and real challenge for this mission is the bat-crab boss. The weak point is the back of the tail, as this has no armour. Strategy-wise you can use two players at opposite ends, with one always able to hit the weak point, or simply plant mines around (They're all around this area) and shoot it's weak point while (s)he's crippled.
Note: You can upgrade weapon firepower from the inventory between missions (and mission failures).
Beat 2-2 on any difficulty to unlock this trophy.
Boss Fight - Popokarimu
Popokarimu is coated in heavy armour with the exception of a weak spot on it's tail which is only exposed whilst flying or knocked down. There are various barrels scattered around the area which contain ammo and most importantly, proximity bombs. Equip a bomb and place it roughly in the middle of the path. Your next objective is to lure the beast over it, they won't explode if you make contact with them so feel free to walk over them. Once it's knocked down by the explosion, run closer to the weak spot and pump it with your best weapon until it gets up again. Rinse and repeat a few times and the B.O.W will fall.
This boss relies on mobility, air attacks and quick dashes. It cannot be penetrated from the front - only the soft and unprotected back of the tail is vulnerable. With a living partner, you can try the simplest tactics: one constantly looms in front of the fanged muzzle, the other comes from behind and torments the red flesh with bullets. But it’s still safer to use sensor mines, of which there are a lot in the surrounding houses and barrels. The straightforward animal spends most of its time chasing Chris and Sheva on the ground, so it readily runs into mines. The explosion itself does not cause serious damage, but knocks over Popokarimu and allows him to attack the tail for at least ten seconds (a machine gun is the best weapon in such a situation). When the “bat” gets up, we lure it to one or two more mines, shoot the vulnerable point and destroy the remaining health of the boss.
It would be logical to say that with increasing difficulty level, the duration of the battle and the amount of damage required for this beast increases in direct proportion.
