How to unlock the It Takes Two to Tango achievement in Resident Evil 5 - Definitive Guide
I strongly recommend boosting this with four people. Doing this with random people is extremely difficult. The other team would try to kill you, which disrupt the combo, or they would kill the zombie, which leave far fewer zombies for you to kill and connect the combo. (Sorry, I tried to do this solo and it never works for me).
The first stage, Public Assembly, is recommended as common enemies don’t have armor or shield. Any character you choose is fine, but the normal Christ is also good as his weapons have high number of ammo. You should stay away from your teammate, so your chance of encountering zombie is better. As soon as the mission starts, seek out and punch the orange "timer" to extend total duration of the mission.
- The first person may focus on seeking out and quickly dispatching any zombie he sees.
- The second person, however, should focus on ensuring that the combo keeps on going. The combo tracker number is displayed on the upper right corner of the screen and will flash after about 6 seconds. It is a warning sign that you must kill zombie now or it will end the combo. So, when he encounters a zombie, instead of killing it immediately, he should leave that one zombie alive for a while until the combo tracker began to flash. If he encounters more than one zombie, kill the rest and leave one alive. Keep a good distance so that you will be able to kill it in one shot. Doing that will give your teammate more time to seek and dispatch zombie. Strong weapons, such as shotgun, are recommended.
Gt J The Altruist
This is probably one of the most difficult trophies to obtain in the DLC set. The aim of this game mode is to build up your points by constantly killing enemies in quick succession, which in turn raises the combo meter. You are not allowed to have any breaks in the chain otherwise you’ll have to start over again.
A Shotgun or Sniper Rifle makes this much easier as it has a decent amount of firepower and ammo and will kill most of the enemies in a single shot. The best place to earn this trophy is the Temple map - make sure that both of you go all the way up to the second floor and stay around the bridge area. The enemies always spawn here so you should always be able to find some to help build your combo meter up. Make sure that you check the cave on the other side of the bridge and then the stairs leading down to the first floor. Constantly alternate between these two areas and you should be able to kill enough enemies to maintain your combo streak.
Be aware that there is also another team playing the game so be careful as they may be out to kill you and break your combo chain. If you’re having a difficult time trying to earn this trophy then you can check out the Versus Partners Thread.
