How to unlock the Bob and Weave achievement in Resident Evil 6 - Definitive Guide

Prompts to counter (RT) happen when an enemy is swinging at/about to hit you.

Personally I found this easiest to do on the enemies known as Bloodshot, which are the inside out skinned zombies that like to leap at you if you are at a distance.

I suggest mercenaries on the map(s) Urban Chaos or Mining the Depths, or Leon's campaign. Basically just stand at a distance and they will quite predictably leap at you, and the prompt is one of the longer/more forgiving counters in the game.

You will know you have done it if you interrupt their leap and stomp on their chest, usually resulting in an instakill on the lower difficulties/mercenaries.

They do, almost 100% of the time. 22 people agree with me.

I agree with AirNath, there were no leaping zombies in Urban Chaos or Mining the Depths. I played through both twice and there were no such zombies.

Your goal is to counter an enemies attack 3x in a row.

Best to use an enemy that's swinging an object like a machete, golf club, 2x4, or an ax.

I immediately went into urban chaos with a character, any character really. Run outside and find an enemy with a swinging object. Wait for them to attack you. As soon as the RT prompt comes up, hit it. You'll perform the attack and typically kill them.

Go around the map and find 2 more and do this exact same strategy. The enemies were easy to find in URBAN CHAOS, but any map would do really. Sometimes I had to wait for the 3rd one to spawn in, but could do it easily within 30 seconds.

Best place for this achievement is Leon's campaign, chapter 2-2 (the cemetery). I did it on split screen with no one at the partner's control, so the game's AI wouldn't interfere. Just wait until an enemy attacks and press RT (on controller) or MouseLeft (on keyboard) right before that. Do this three times in a row.

When an enemy is about to hit you, hit  to counter the attack. Do this three times in a row. If you do anything else between each counter, you have to start over. The button prompt goes by far too fast to do on reaction, so base your timing on the animation of the attacking enemy. Zombies are easiest because the animation when they're winding up for an attack is slow and easy to see.

An easy place to get this is in the Urban Chaos stage in Mercenaries mode. At the very start, there will be two weapon wielding zombies. Counter them with  and then find a third. If you mess up, you can restart the game instantly to try again. Also fun note: Your progress is carried over even if you restart. You can counter the first two, restart, and get your third off one the of zombies at the beginning.

Easy to complete in the first chapter at the very beginning of Jake and Sheri's company, playing as Sheri. As soon as you separate from Jake, about 5 enemies armed with machetes will be waiting for you in a narrow corridor (on easy level). It is advisable not to leave the corridor so that you cannot be surrounded. Click at the moment of impact on you and reflect the blow. So three times and the trophy is yours

I took this trophy to the cemetery (the company is for Leon), there are enough dead people with shovels, to be sure, a friend in the co-op would drive away the extra ones)

not necessarily on a light one and with shovels (did it as a pro), it can be done on any zombie without a weapon.

As soon as the zombie makes a swing at this moment, press and so 3 times (I did it the first time while playing as Leon in the first chapter)

Only the counterattack in which the enemy was killed is counted!

Played as Helena. In front of the cathedral there is a corridor with crypts, zombies with machetes roam there one by one. I did it on them. It's a matter of 2 minutes)

The trophy can be obtained both in the campaign and in the "mercenaries" mode. As soon as the zombie swings, press R2 . Nothing complicated...here's a visual video .

The trophy is not glitchy. It’s just that if someone hits you, the “counter” is reset. As an option, in the second episode in the cemetery you can do it on zombies with shovels - their timing there is a little simpler than that of ordinary zombies.
