How to unlock the One Is Better Than None achievement in Resident Evil 6 - Definitive Guide

You can get this after the prologue easy enough.

From the Menu go to Campaign - Skill Settings and there you can purchase a variety of skills.

(It did throw me off that the skills have a padlock next to them which I thought meant I hadn't unlocked the ability to purchase them! However if you click A (Purchase/Upgrade) then you can select Yes to purchase)

Complete the first chapter with any character, at the end you will receive skill points. Use them to buy any skill at the end of the chapter. Also, skill points sometimes fall out of defeated enemies.

You can also buy a skill in “Mercenaries”, this trophy will also drop. Some of these skills can be equipped in the story.

From the main menu, select the "Play" menu > "Campaign" > "Customize Skills" and buy any skill from the list.
