How to unlock the Great Success achievement in Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City - Definitive Guide

Aside from requirements, I'll give you some major tips on getting past some rough spots on Professional or Veteran, so that you can require those S+ ranks!
If you follow this, you'll have a good chance. I cannot guarantee no frustration or a 1st time through. This is a skill/difficulty achievement, so it requires practice and patience. You need to know the levels well enough, mainly where the items are located, so play the level on Casual before hand (I had to repeat the last mission 4x times because of one Intel). Only Missions #4 and #5 (that I know of) can afford one A rank to still get an S+, like an extra death or 3-4min off time. I also recommend doing it solo on Professional. I know, why? Because it makes it harder with co-op and Veteran requires more for an S rank. I got all S's on mission #4 with co-op and only got a simple S rank and I/we tried this 3x. Also the friendly fire ruins the fun; cutting out unnecessary death. But I can't stop you and this guide works for both solo and co-op, so go crazy.

*EDIT* I would like to also mention that this is more of a stealthy way. To avoid confusion with my "run it" strategy, the spots that I mention will not hurt your score, since they only cause you time loss and more deaths, it's best to avoid them in the long run. Killing 3 zombies is just the same as killing 3 Hunters, so pick your targets the way you like.

*TIPS from the comments*
"7th mission, if you protect leon he will eventually kill your opponents for you I would just hide in the office where the typewriter is. Never took him more than 3-4 minutes." - Nikke84

^I agree. Don't worry about time with this mission, so if your nervous of facing your former comrades, then do this. Just be aware of their melee attacks and keep your distance, they always seem to get you in an instant kill.

SLY SCORPI0N proves my point that you can maintain an S+ with an A rank. The game seems to add difficulty to your score and gives you more credit than Veteran. So you have a more success rate with Professional.

Characters of choice: {Have Bertha accompany you; she is the medic of the team}
-Spectre- Has the ability to find objects, like Intel and laptops, including enemies and if your under enemy (Spec Ops) radar.
-Vector- Has the ability of Active Camo. Fully upgraded that will last for 20sec (est. 12,000xp total).

Weapons of Choice:
-Riot Shotgun [42rounds] (Primary). For the zombies (a must for the Crimson Zombies- the red angry ones) and Hunters. I can't stress this enough of how great this weapon is!
-Samurai Edge (Secondary). For Spec Ops and Lickers. Surprisingly effective.

Mission #3. Use Vector*
-Nicholai (First encounter).
He will be sniping at you from a tower and it only takes a few shots to kill you. The way I did this, without being touched and paranoid, is by going up to him. That's right, he can't shoot you when you're right under him, but you can. The only way for him to hurt you is by grenades, but those are easily avoidable and he mostly throws them at your comrades. When he pokes his head out through the window, unleash a furry of bullets from the Samurai Edge. Do this until he summons zombies with the church bell. Run back to the ammo crate, finish up the zombies with the Riot Shotgun and repeat, till your informer tells you that he's no longer an issue.

*Nicholai (Second encounter).
This battle takes place shortly after encounter #1 in the generator room. It's best to use Vector's Active Camo, because it get's REALLY hectic when you activate the generators. This part can end really short with this method. You can throw in some grenades in where the Spec Ops spawn:
Spawn door #1 is the left door of the first Gen.
Spawn door #2 is on your right (facing previous Gen), when you activate the second Gen.
After you do this and activating the 3rd and last Gen., just hide under the walkway and make sure your camo is on, you don't want to get an unexpected death. [Cut scene/End]

Mission #4. Use Vector for Professional and Spectre on Casual, so that you know where the Intel is.
There is a lot of moments of where you can just run it! Don't mess with the crawlers, since they take forever to kill! The parts to "just run it" are these rooms (don't forget Intel):
-Room with the 3 card keys and the rouge Tyrant
-Room with the second appearance of the Tyrant
The room where you have to go back and forth to unlock doors has a infinite zombie spawn, so this place redeems from all that running! Trust me, this is where you'll appreciate the Riot shotgun.

Now the boss! Nemesis! Basically hide back with the ammo crate and shoot him in the head with the Samurai Edge, don't forget to shoot the red barrels, and check your 3-o'clock for zombies. Once he retreats to the other side, Spec Ops will pop in and start firing at the Nemesis. Good, they actually help out taking him down. Just pick on him from a distance and if your feeling confident, then go to the blue cargo crate that is on the left of the Nemesis. There's a green herb inside, also don't worry to much about the Spec Ops when your down there... they're really focused on the BIG guy. Use Camo and shoot him, while poking out of the cargo crate, with the Riot shotgun and/or Samurai Edge to speed the process. [40min or less for S rank]

Mission #5. VECTOR!! There's so much avoiding.
The whole part before the end of the lickers in the garage is easy and make sure you kill every zombie before hand (you need 150 kills on this mission).
1. Okay, after you open the garage door of the lickers, go camo and grab the 2 Intell that is here in this area (do a reconnaissance on casual with Specrte to know where everything is).
2. After this is 3-4 Hunters [Riot Shotgun], make sure you stick to the right side, because there will be some Spec Ops that are still there, but they will disappear. No matter what difficulty, Hunters will always be a pain and they're unpredictable.
3. Next, down the alleyway, where you dodge another Hunter and jump down, there will be an all out Spec Ops and Hunter fight near a gas station. Camo to the ammo box straight ahead, grab the Intel and run straight to the Spec Ops, you'll find an open door with a hallway that leads to an Intell and a Health Spray (this is directly behind enemy lines). Nurture your wounds here and recover your Camo. [45sec later] run to the other side and enter a garage that is filled with Spec Ops, once you enter, they'll disappear.
4. Continue on and watch out with these 2 hallways in the garage, you will most likely get infected in this closed area. You don't want to die after you just dodged all that chaos!
5. This is the most intense part. Take out all the Spec Ops with the Samurai Edge and make sure that the soldier on the truck with the sniper is taken down first. Then once you clear all of the Spec Ops, gather what is left before you activate the Hunter drop pods... unfortunately, you'll get hit by the impact of the first one. I can't seem to find a way to avoid this. Be aware of the glowing circle on the ground, that indicates the area where the drop pod lands.
6. Kill the hunters and run back when the next wave of Spec Ops start storming in. Replenish your shotgun and your Active Camo, run all the way (while in Camo) to the checkpoint. If your low on health grab the herbs when you run by. Once your in the open area with bunch of zombies, you should see the drop spot that leads to the Tyrant(s) battle. Don't go yet, but to your far right and camp there and kill the zombies for the 150kills. You'll be out of sight from the Ops and once you're done, Camo back to the Flamethrower (it's located in the weapons locker where you fought the previous Hunters). Wait for your Camo and then run to back to fight the Tyrants! The Flamethrower is a miracle worker, when it comes to killing Tyrants! You will be able to refuel the Flamethrower at the ammo crate and be done in no time. It takes about 3-4 refuels to kill a Tyrant, so just keep at it and you'll do just find.

Mission #6: Either character works, but if your worried about Ada Wong, then use Vector's Camo and flash grenades. Kill the zombies and run away from the Hunters, while picking off some more zombie, when you pass the cut scene with magma man a.k.a. the boss. This is best done solo, since there are several moments where you have to wait for players. You don't want to reach a spot when there's Hunters on your tail, while your partner is pissing around or lost.

The boss battle on the elevator will seem like forever. Grab the gun next to the ammo box that's next (not on) to elevator.. it's either a Hammer or Ravenger, this is a tip from my friend, I just used the the Samurai Edge. Keep at it and dodge his attacks (sorry for the obvious), this is the only hard part in this mission.

Mission #7. Very short and slightly tough. You need all S's to get this: 150kills, 2 deaths, 8 Intell, and 30min or less. Use Victor to dodge the snipers in the cargo area with Camo, they will make you bleed out and cause a MASSIVE zombie horde. Toss a grenade below when there's a gathering of zombies, then shotgun your way through. Keep moving, killing and regenerating your Camo.

Once you get your ass owned by Clarie, you'll start off bleeding, so find cover and shoot the gas can at the center of the horde. That will obliterate a lot of zombies. Pick off the Ops up top, run under the balcony where the ammo box is. Take cover at that spot, make the Ops bleed with the Samurai Edge and the zombies will do the rest. After that, finish off the zombies with the shotgun, recover health, ammo and grenades.

After the mines that Claire has nicely set for us and the cut scene with Leon, use your Camo to make a run for the checkpoint. This spot is really a pain without Camo, since Leon can make you bleed with a shot and take 25% of your health. If the barricade is not open, then continue on to the other side and out of sight of the Ops, till it breaks down. When that's done, run under the roof where Leon is camping at and hide there to gain kills. Once again, make the Ops bleed, kill some zombies (infinite respawn for that 150 kill requirement) and climb the ladder.

For this part, simply choose to help Leon and defeat your former comrades. Make sure you grab the 3 Intells in here:
1. Your side-Top left by a herb and grenade launcher
2. Enemy side- There spawned area on a box
3. Enemy side- Up the stairs in a small contol room.
If you feel confident and you haven't died yet, grab those 3 Intells, let yourself get killed and grab them agian to make sure that you have enough to pass the requirements (they count extra if you grab them again). Remember that you have 2 deaths to meet the S+.

Well that's all the hard parts that I struggled with, if you have any pointers and advise that you would like to share, then comment below.

I want to give thanks to Ahkamon for the great advice about the guns and the Flamthrower tip to kill the Tyrants! My friends and I couldn't have done it sooner without him. Also want to thank Leon S. Kennedy3 and CrispyVictim for the friendly competition, this guide was our feedback that we gave each other; bringing us both S+ ranks. We hope this gathering of info and tips help you, fellow TA members!

Good luck! You're gonna need it ;)

It seems it is not possible to get S+ on the first lvl on Veteran as I did it with no deaths, killed all enemies, got all Intel, as fast as it is possible, even no first aid spray use & did a run getting all cameras and 1 not getting them but then got it first time on Professional.

Security Cameras do have an effect on yore end lvl grade but as it is only +50xp for each and +500xp for all on some lvl's you may be better off not get them.

I even got S+ on the 2ed lvl even tho I got Kills B, Time S, Deaths S, Intel S [ Score 17000 ] weapons = Suppressed Rifle & lightning hawk, Player = Vector Skill = Mimicry Lvl3 I just used Mimicry when ever i have a living enemy then run up to them and hit B then hold B and then hit the right trigger for a 1 hit shot from yore gun (All guns 1 hit kill when doing this only works on Spec Ops) counts as a brutal kill & head shot.

First off thanks and thumbs up Sideburns 522 for your reply to my private message your tips along with other videos/guides have got me to mission 5 in solo now comes the hard part Expendables Ive run through it on Casual only dying once I can certainly see why Vector would be the best guy to go with il be trying for it tomorrow as the S+ Ranks are pretty much all I need for the 1000gs, I kinda winged mission 4 ran out of my lives before the garage area through no fault of my own the A.I are pathetic no matter what the difficulty so I would advise anyone not to rely on them even for health...I killed the Nemesis in less then 5 minutes by standing over the ammo box and using the Samurai Edge before the Spec Ops came then I went downstairs and used a box as cover to finish him off I did however have to deal with Vector turing zombie and taking me within a mm of my life finished with SSSA and still got the S+ I was over by 1 minute....great guide :)

Btw. don't do Mission 5 on Professional, do it on Veteran its much easier, instead 30 Shots a Hunter needs 5-6 and for the Tyrants i found the Flametrower Bullshit, its better to shot them with the Jagernaut and the Samurai Edge and it does not matter if it is the Head or the Body i tested it,so simply shot at them anywhere fast... I found also that the Tyrants are not stronger in Professional, it taked th same amount of Time to kill them, i think it was 3-4 Minutes for both, i finished the Mission within 26 Minutes on Veteran and got S+ for it...

If you gonna do it on Pro you can easy kill the Hunters by get one hunt you and going up the Stairs to the far end where the Incendiary Grant is and shot from there with the Samurai Edge, works very well and without Danger because till they reach you they are dead.

If you have two of them chasing you try to separate them and run around the diagonal Barricade and shot at it, its best done with the Jagernaut and they are glitched there, sometimes they are stuck in the Air so you can easy kill them, but don't move to them stay away because else they come out of the Glitch... ;) Also at the same Spot sometimes they jump to far and get lost in the Wall, well one less to kill...

Ahh and if you have killed one of the Tyrants its cool to run around the Latern there, they Glitch too if you do it correct they can't jump and can't hit you either but it only works with one of them because else you get the other suddenly behind you, but its a good way to kill the last as fast as possible if you run out of Time or so...

For Mission 5 my Choice is Lupo, if you Time the Superhuman ability right you can kill faster without getting Damage, especialy on Pro the extra 50% Damage is really useful to finish off some Section faster.

You keep talking about avoiding but if you don't get enough kills (and not just par but EXCEED the par) then you'll have wasted your time and won't get enough kills for S+ anyway. Bad "guide" but the weapon choices are kinda limited too (The ones that you give anyway) should try giving more than just the option of a shotgun. I play with a tactical Sub and it works perfectly fine...

Oh and for the last part of the 7th mission, if you protect leon he will eventually kill your opponents for you I would just hide in the office where the typewriter is. Never took him more than 3-4 minutes.

Boahh, Mission 5 on Pro lagged like Hell Local NOT online!! It was almost Slowmotion... But you can use it because the Hunters are Slowmotion too, some of them was even stuck in place so easy to take them out heheh...

Btw. there is a secure Spot on the second Wave of Hunters in Mission 5 before the first Pot go up the small little Bar and stay there, the Hunters will not reach you, but unfortunately you will run out of Ammo and will need to go down to refill, but you can easy kill 3 of them from there without damage, so its cool...

Yeah SIdeburns 522 happened too on me, a flicker Line in the middle of the Screen, happened on Mission 5 which still lags like hell after several reboots and restarts, seems the Engine is fucked up like the Inputs everything slowmotion and i need to press the Buttons several Times to be sure it has noticed, very poor coding...

There's no point in playing on professional because it's just harder.. i got s,s,s and A(2 more minutes than the requirement) and i got an A so it's the same sh*t ... I prefer the flamethrower too! It was very useful against the tyrants sadly it hasn' achieved me an S+ :/

About doing it on Pro or Vet, the Problem is some Mission seems to give you S+ only on Pro, i done every Mission on both and as i know Mission 5 was the only one i got S+ on Veteran... The others don't give you S+ even if you get all S and beat the Time over 5 Minutes on Veteran, but then i get an S+ for a SSSB on Pro, thats just wtf...

But i had no Problem beating all on Pro except Mission 5 i tried 20 Times and gave up because either it takes way to long to kill or the Hunters are One Hit killing you, even a Licker can One Hit kill you if they jump from far away sometimes, and then after an else perfect Run till where the Pod come down at the end i was suddenly unable to Shot and needed to restart, probably i would have reached it there, but then i said to me, before i kill my Xbox lets do it it on Veteran and voila S+.

Btw. i found a way to avoid the Damage on the Pods landing at the end, which is crucial on Pro because it takes almost the half of your Health away - you have to run fast on the side till the Light shows up and then run behind the Barricade and fast JUMP into the little opening where usually the AI People stands, another Way is hide AND Cover really fast behind the Barricade, but last one works only 50% of the cases.

And for the Last Mission on Pro with Lupo its soo easy, simple take out the Snipers and all Mines except one with the Sniperrifle and kill a Teammate which have the Juggernaut to get it back ;) because Lupo's recharging is so fast you can virtually shot a hallway trough the Zombies while running and then take some Extra Grenades on the Right, enable your Superhuman ability run to the Barricade and throw them to the Spec Ops it will make them Bleed and run back where you can get a second Grenade, wait till the Barricade falls, enable your Superhuman Ability and run behind like written on the Guide and take as much Zombies out as you feel confident with, they will give you many Plants and Grenades anyway and at the Time you run to the ladder enable a last Time the Superhuman ability only to be sure... I not even bothered with taking out Leon because it takes to much Time with the Samurai Edge from that Distance...

Also a really nice Ability almost never mentioned is the ram, if you run and press B you can Ram yourself free, which is really important if you are surrounded by Zombies, ram them what kills the rammed ones and then turn back and shot a Hallway with the Juggernaut while running trough them... I got 368 Kills on that last Mission this way and of course S+ lol....

Also another Thing which is very cheap but cool is too kill Bertha everytime she healed someone, so that she has a Healspray again to heal you if needed, anyway she do it very randomly, you can be almost dead beneath her and she does nothing, the AI is crap, they run into Fires repeatly till they die, Bertha don't heal you if you are almost dead and you are beneath her, they get stuck in Doors all together ... well i usually kill them anyway between Checkpoints and use them only as a Distraction, Bait or Ammosource because they always drop a full Weapon if you kill them... lol

Ohh, i don't written it because of i want it in the Guide, i think People are reading Comments too anyway, i do, so it does not need to be in the Guide itself, should be ok that its in the Comments... The Game makes anyway a bad Job telling to the Players the Gamemechanics, so if someone is to blame for it then the Develeoper, hehehe... And i don't want criticise in any way your Guide this way, its only an additional Info thats all... And yeah Mission 5 is really the worst, the second worst is probably 3 and 2, but not even near the worstness of 5... ;)

All missions completed with a friend on professional with S,S,S,S or S,S,S,A and I got only simple S's for all of them... So I've earned the "Succes" but the "Great Success" is still waiting for a ! PATCH ! At the weekend I'm going to try them on professional alone...

Anybody else have a problem with mission 6 Redemption
I score

Kills: 140+
Deaths: 0
Data: 17
Time: 23:40

Am I missing something here? I've done it on Pro and Vet like 3 times with equal results S.

@SirisEFarwood
Did you only collect the Data or used the Notebooks?

Because everything looks ok too my, but if it is Score based of some Sort then you only get the Points from the Data for using the Notebook and that are 17*50+350 = 1200 Points what could make the Difference between 8000 = S and 9200 = S+ perhaps?!

Else it really seems to be random....

Great guide. I barely used it up until expendable and I got stuck and gave up. I came back after watching countless videos and saw the flamethrower tip. killed the tyrants with no deaths in 5 min. finished the last 2 levels the same day. Can't express how thankful I am for this guide. I was about 3 attempts away from marking this as incomplete and saying f it.

In Mission #7 (when you reach the part with Leon on the roof) there is Claire's grenade launcher somewhere on the ground (10 grenades ammo). With Vector's invisibility it is easy to grab and helps to get the 150 kills needed.
Thanks for the guide!

Upvoted! Tactics work great, but I want to point out that these are very doable on veteran, as that's what I did missions 5, 6 & 7 on solo. I used Spectre in every mission except mission 5. That's the only one I had failed enough to have data locations burned into my mind and Vectors active camo is god tight situations.

On mission 4, I actually managed an S+ rank even with a B rank for clear time. Had all datas, 1 death and about 100 more kills than needed. This was on pro difficulty.

I had a problem where the game forced me into an offline campaign and it didn't register that I'd beat the three levels on Professional or gotten an S+ rank on them. I'm not sure if being in an offline match was what caused, but I figured I should mention.

For mission 6 to beat that big calwed bastard you should take the Hammer(as it is mentioned above) because you can damage it's "heart" when he's protecting it with his hand too!!! But of course use the riot gun until you reach the elevator! With this method getting S+ was a cakewalk: my time was under 23:16 on Prof. alone as Spectre! Thanks a lot for mentioning the Hammer in the box! :D

I agree with the riot gun, it's so much easier to deal with zombies than anything else. Most hunters can be skipped anyway. I got S+ on the third mission even though i took 43 min to finish when the par is 35, that's a B-rating.

I think it works on a point basis, you get more points for proffessional than veteran and more points for exceeding goals, I only got 148/150 kills on second mission but I did not die, got 17 collectables over par and did it 10 mins under par, so I got ASSS and it gave me S+

As far as i know lots of people have some problems with the Hunters on Mission 5 so i highly recommend that to have a co-op partner who has to be Foureyes because she can control them with her ability called "Program infected" and this is very useful! With this method you don't need to run away from them or evade in every second just shoot them while they are just standing in one place but be careful because the ability only lasts for some seconds ... I hope it is helpful to those who are struggling with this mission..

the Other 3 Solution's are Great guides, here are just videos on the intel Locations

Before i start i will also post the S+ Rank Videos here to

After intel 12 in the same area they are some stairs take the stairs up and you will find another intel

After intel 16. there should be another 2 laying about on this room

When you head to intel 20 take a right. then keep to your left you will see some fallen down lockers or something its on that

level 3

i think i only miss one!. i point it out in the video

level 4

As far as i no i havent missed any but please let me no if i have

On the fifth stage where he says in his write up where the pods fall down on you with the hunters (area just before the end fight) look at the cart on the left side get a running start and dive! I never get hit anymore by that first pod. If your quick enough you can grab the intel before the second one lans its awesome!

I've barely gotten S in some aspects and still gotten S+ as long as it's all S on Professional it should be an S+ rank run these lists you've posted (with the 10-15 minutes under par and a few others like that) are probably just for Veteran if going for that but on Professional as long as all are S it should grant you S+

Bro why after every number do you have eg.150 kills(have 25 more than target acquired).
Do you need to get 150 to get the s+ rank or 175.
I figured the s+ rank was for reaching all targets(getting an s) in kills, deaths items and time, Why have u written the numbers is the brackets? To get s+ rank can i just meet all the requirerments listed? Otherwise great work on the guide bro just a little confusing with no explaination of the bracketed numbers.

This is the hardest trophy in the entire game and requires dedicated time. First of all, Veteran and Professional difficulties are the only way to unlock a letter grade of S and S+ rank after completing a mission. It's also recommend that you use Spectre and Lupo to go for S+ rankings. They're two of the best characters due to their Class Abilities.

The ranking system is based on the following four criteria:

  1. Number of kills
  2. Number of player deaths
  3. Number of items collected
  4. Time it took you to clear the mission

Those four grades receive a letter grade after they're averaged to determine your overall letter grade. Each mission has a different ranking criteria, so please refer to the S+ - The Complete Walkthrough to Great Success to get a better understanding on the numbers you must achieve. It's also a FAQ and Enemies Intel Guide that includes a breakdown of all 7 Campaign Mode missions in order to help you achieve an S+ ranking. The last few things I'll mention is that Veteran is the hardest difficulty to achieve the S+ rank on compared to Professional difficulty. It is possible to achieve the S+ on Veteran, but you got to do extremely well for that S+ rank to appear for it in the mission complete screen. I personally never gotten a S+ on Veteran even after I got [S, S, S, S] and still received a letter grade of S. Professional difficulty is much more forgiving as I got grades such as [S, A, S, A] or [S, S, S, A] and letter grade received was S+. You can try to get the S+ rank on Veteran if you wish too, but Professional is the way to go. Remember, it doesn’t matter if you got an S+ rank on Veteran and the remaining S+ ranks on Professional. Last of all, Free Play Mode will count towards the S+ ranks. And doing this trophy in online co-op can get you the trophy if your partner is helping you out as Bertha while you do all the work towards your S+. Unlocking this trophy will also unlock the Success trophy because S+ rankings stacks over S ranking.

For the S+ Ranks it is easier to do them playing co-op with a friend. One plays as Spectre and the other as Vector. Spectre is used so you can locate collectibles and Vector so you can Imitate enemies and use his cloaking device. It is best to team up with a partner who is willing to to run through all the levels twice because it may be pretty difficult for you both to get S+ on the same run.

Recomended weapons are the Riot Shotgun, Juggernuat Shotgun, Hammer, Ravager and the Samurias Edge for your pistol. As always, take your time, be cautious and communicate with your teammate.

If you do co-op, here are the requirements for the S+ ranks:

Containment:
Difficulty: Professional
# Of Kills: 16
# Of Deaths: 1
Items Collected: 6
Clear Time: 25:00

Corruption:
Difficulty: Professional
# Of Kills: 75
# Of Deaths: 1
Items Collected: 10
Clear Time: 35:00

Lights Out:
Difficulty: Professional
# Of Kills: 55
# Of Deaths: 3
Items Collected: 10
Clear Time: 35:00

Gone Rogue:
Difficulty: Professional
# Of Kills: 75
# Of Deaths: 2
Items Collected: 10
Clear Time: 35:00

Expendable:
Difficulty: Professional
# Of Kills: 75
# Of Deaths: 1
Items Collected: 8
Clear Time: 30:00

Redemption:
Difficulty: Professional
# Of Kills: 50
# Of Deaths: 3
Items Collected: 8
Clear Time: 35:00

End Of The Line:
Difficulty: Professional
# Of Kills: 75
# Of Deaths: 2
Items Collected: 4
Clear Time: 30:00

If you cant find a partner or want to do them by yourself then use the video guide here. An alternative video guide can be found here.

To get this achievement you will have to work hard!

To obtain an S+ rank, you need to achieve the best result on 4 points in each chapter:

Number of kills (mostly 150 for S rank)

Number of deaths (basically 1 death per level - no more, but better not to die at all for S rank)

Amount of data collected (Varies for each level, depending on the content of the records at the level - from 17 to 25 for rank S)

Time spent per level (mostly 30 minutes for S rank)

In addition to the above, you need to gain a certain amount of xp at the level, for this you need:

1 . At the first opportunity, send the found records via a laptop to get additional storage.

2 . Kill more zombies than needed for S rank (for 20 - 30 kills)

3 . If you notice cameras, you must shoot them down (you don’t have to look for everything, 5 of them is enough. For each camera they give 50 xp. Sometimes you get the S+ rank without cameras if you farm a lot of kills - the most optimal)

4 . Play only on Professional difficulty - the multiplier is larger and the bonus is reliable.

I recommend the character Ghost - he is weak, but he sees all the data on the level. You can learn all the builds as a ghost and then play with the powerful Assault class, but you’re unlikely to remember all the locations of the notes, since you’ll have to speedrun.

The arsenal must be like this:

1 . The main weapon is the Police Rifle (the most powerful weapon in the game, it kills zombies at close range with one shot. You need to put a clip on the lickers).

2 . Secondary weapon - Samurai Blade (Good pistol, has more than 100 rounds of ammunition and excellent shooting at long-range targets).

Combat tactics - We take out all the evil spirits from the shotgun (Police rifle), we use a pistol (Samurai blade) on the soldiers. With soldiers, the main thing is to get used to it - we try to shoot in the head, they accumulate from 3 accurate hits. We run backwards with the zombies and always try to reload the shotgun at the first opportunity. If soldiers shoot at you from roofs or ledges, we throw grenades. We don’t stand - we killed everyone, we immediately push on further, time is precious, because if even a minute is not enough, forget about the S+ rank.

It's better to play alone in a closed game - the enemies are weaker. In co-op, the difficulty increases and the enemies become mega impenetrable. Be sure to take the Doctor (Bert) as your partner, she heals pretty well, the Stormtrooper (Lupo) she is quite tenacious and aggravates soldiers well, the Scout, he survives well in crowds of zombies and distracts the bloody chaos from you.

The most difficult chapters are 3, 5, 6. The fifth chapter is simply mega difficult.

Lizards (large enemies that jump and knock you down - start from Chapter 5) are best to run through. For example, in the 5th chapter, when meeting them, it is better to push away and run in the direction of the arrow, not to get involved in a fight - they will knock you down easily. But in some cases they will have to be brought down - the end of the 5th chapter. The best option in this place is to take a flamethrower and stupidly fry. With two bosses in an armored coat (end of the 5th chapter), we take out a pistol (Samurai Blade) to the head. The same with the boss machine gunner in the 4th chapter, in the head with a pistol. And another place in the fifth chapter, where in a small room a whole flock of lickers attacks you - we stand behind a box at the entrance and shoot with a pistol and switch to shotguns, throw grenades - This place is the most difficult in the entire game on a professional level.

In my opinion, it is better to go through with a friend, in this case the requirements are halved. It is better for the one who knocks out the achievement to take Lupo and the active skill Super Soldier, the one who helps - the medic or the Ghost - the medic can carry several first aid kits, restores more HP and wields a dart to reduce damage by 90%, and the Ghost sees almost everyone and everything on the map, with the exception of cameras. The assistant does not collect anything and kills only in extreme cases.

To get an S+ rank on Professional difficulty at any level, it is enough to get an S rank in 3 categories and get an A or B rank in the 1st category.
Example:
Kill count - S rank
Number of Deaths - S Rank
Amount of data collected - S rank
Level completion time - rank A or B
The final rank will be S+
Usually in the “level completion time” category you can get rank A or B
