How to unlock the On A Roll achievement in Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City - Definitive Guide

Can be done in a private match with 2 people. Take it in turns to get this. Get 5 kills without dieing then swap so the other player can get it. Any map or match will do fine. Plenty of time for both players to get it one match.

This guide is for those who wish to do this the legitimate way, or can't find friends to boost with, there is a decent way to accomplish this without too much trouble. First off, I'll explain ways to prepare and work towards this achievementen I'll fill you in on how I obtained mine.

This guide was also originally for the 10 kill streak achievement, so if you get this achievement, KEEP GOING!!

{Instead of voting down, please message me on how I can improve this guide.}

-FIRST AND FOREMOST to save yourself a lot of trouble, do this in the Heroes game mode. (The heroes have much more health than standard characters, if you aren't a hero because you joined late or were killed off, just enjoy your match and try again when you can be a hero.)

-Weapons: You may as well get familiar with the game and save up some credits before going for this. For your weapons, I recommend the Riot Gun (the most well balanced shotgun) and the Samurai Edge pistol (possibly the best weapon in the game). Holding LB and aiming in the direction of your target is the best way to use your pistol, for accuracy, speed, and a view of your surroundings.
-Skills: It's recommended to have at least unlocked all permanent character skills (Example: quick reload, first aid proficiency) as well as one select able skill for the character you're using (such as incendiary rounds.). If you have them upgraded, you'll only be better off. I have all of Lupo's abilities maxed so far, and it has served me well.

-Character/Map: These aren't as specific, these are best picked depending on your method of battle. I myself would pick either Lonewolf (resistant to bullets, and antiviral proficient), or HUNK (Stealthy, can have cloak ability to sneak out of a fight and search for first aid). Leon also has bullet resistance, and both Claire and Ada have first aid proficiency. The map would be better to have something more close quarter designated so you can escape, prepare, and use the Extra health with shotgun and melee to your advantage.

-Method of Survival: Stick with your group, and always have a first aid on hand. Never try and fight another hero unless they aren't paying attention to you and you have help. You want at least one hero (leaving 2 is better) so the match continues and there are regular, weaker troops in the area. Go for any standard character as long as you won't get overwhelmed and you have health. The methods of attack are A:melee with B and after landing a hit press A (if short cutscene activates, instant kill AND credit towards 5 melee kills in a match achievement), B: aim and shotgun, C: hold LB pistol. Always keep an eye on your health and ammo and heal when its about halfway down. There's no shame in escaping a fight to use an herb or first aid. ALSO stick with your team any time there are multiple targets or a hero nearby.

Now this is how I got mine: Character-HUNK, Map-City Hall. Now this is how I did it (for not only 5...BUT 10!)
Character- HUNK Map- City Hall
I filled ammo as often as i could and kept zombies out of the path, and always made sure to have a first aid on hand. Since I was HUNK, I used cloak to run whenever I got overwhelmed or needed health. I searched for standard enemies and took care of my teammates when they needed it. When I saw a target, I would either run into them then melee/finish after they half stood up, or just melee and finish. With this method, I managed to get all ten of them as melee kills (popping the other achievement as well) with ease. The game ended with me being the final hero standing, but it worked out perfectly.

[UPDATE]
Just reached the achievement requirements again with my final and 10th kill being HUNK, ending the match.
I was on the map Apocalypse playing as Claire Redfield, and had both the First Aid and Anti viral upgraded twice so that I was carrying 3 of each, which was particularly useful, and whenever a fight occurred I'd use a stim pack to endure it. Same weapons as mentioned before, basically melee killing all standard characters. The best area to hang around is the van by the gas station with the V shaped roof, near both ammo and 2 first aids and stock up, and in that back alley there is also a grenade launcher in a box if push comes to shove.

Can be done in a private game with a friend. It’s better to immediately combine it with the achievements Up Close and Personal, Like a Bee, Skill or Luck? / Skill... Or Luck?. Just get 10 melee kills and get 4 achievements.
