This depends if the mastermind puts a lot of creatures together. But to do most damage use a sledgehammer and a yellow herb for increase damage. It is easier at stage 3 of the map since the mastermind puts a lot of creatures to defend biocores.

The torch is the best weapon for this. Sledgehammer is way too slow, tried a bunch of times with it and couldn't get the kills fast enough.

I see i used different skills for it but the torch works well too.
