How to unlock the "Not Even Close to Easy" achievement in Resident Evil Revelations 2 - Definitive Guide
This is a walkthrough of Resident Evil: Revelations 2, Episode 1 on Invisible Mode. The videos are split into Claire and Barry's episodes. In this mode, enemies are invisible until you shine the flashlight on them or point at them with Natalia. The difficulty is set to Survival, so there may be more enemies than you are used to if you haven't played that difficulty before.

Yes, I believe that is correct.

To unlock this mode you must first beat the game at least once in order to have access to it through the extra tab located on the main menu there you can buy it for 1000BP points.
Invisible mode is on survival difficulty, all enemy's are invisible and can only be seen when you either shine a light on them with Moira or point at them with Natalia. My suggestions are to be conformable with the campaign and know where to go and have a general idea of where enemy's spawn , Second have a majority of the skill upgrades for the campaign as it will make things a little bit easier. Most enemy's you can run past and if you know where to go there really shouldn't be any need to fire at them, thus saving you ammo and not getting you killed.
The only time when killing a lot of enemy's should come into play is after inserting the golden cog peace during your escape of the prison bit on Claire's campaign, here's what i did, this worked best for me but you are free to do what you find best works. after inserting the cog don't run into the room with the flame thrower. Instead, turn around and start shooting in the general area where enemy's run to get into the circular room after that start chucking explosives (sub-weapons) at the entrance way this should buy you enough time to place Moira at the door to start prying. during this move the flamethrower with Claire and then turn it on. Most enemy's will run through it and catch on fire revealing them and thus giving you a chance to open fire while you wait for Moira.
As for Barry's Campaign, i would suggest running and again know the campaign as his bit isn't all that hard when your running it, until you run into the forest and Revenants and during this i would suggest that you use Natalia as the "Monsters" don't tend to bother with her making the forest and final part a breeze.
Hope this helps if you need any thing else leave a comment or private message me thanks.

Are we able to use the secret weapons and parts we've earned for beating the game on this mode?

A full play through of Claire and Barry's campaign played on Invisible Mode. I say play on easy and really just speed run through the whole campaign, I personally thought the part with the flamethrower thing was the hardest. Kill at least one zombie thing with a knife just to register a kill with a knife.

It is a easy way that you don't activate the flamethrower.
But I don't try Invisible mode. I will do it in a few days.
