At first this might seem like it's going to be a difficult achievement, but there is in fact a very simple workaround. If you die, Select NO at the continue screen and reload your checkpoint from the main menu. When you get to the end of each stage you will see that you have zero deaths. Repeat as often as is necessary as you play through the game.
I would recommend making manual saves whenever possible, otherwise if you accidentally hit continue you'll have to redo the whole game again. This will be slightly easier in New Game + with the 30 hand prints scanned, since you'll have better weapons and upgrades for the sections where you control Jill, but can still easily be obtained on you first playthrough.

This is a second way to workaround. You can select continue and then restart checkpoint and no death will be recorded. It's probably not much faster though
