Jill is considered the Easy Mode character.
Pros
- 2 more inventory slots than Chris

- Obtains the Assault Shotgun sooner if you save Richard with the serum
- Can obtain the Grenade Launcher, which uses Acid and Flame Rounds
- Can pick locks (Master of Unlocking) without taking up an inventory spot
- Can skip Plant 42 Boss fight without needing extra criteria
- Able to obtain the .44 Magnum if conditions are meet
- Stronger AI teammate
Cons
- Has 440 less Health Points than Chris
- Less chance of landing critical hits
- Weaker knife attack
- Slower than Chris
For these reasons, it is suggested that those new to the series, genre, or game pat as Jill first.
Also, unlocking guns with Jill still allows you to use them as Chris, making his game much easier.
