How to unlock the What a Great Guy achievement in Resident Evil - Definitive Guide
(Missable) This is a Jill only trophy and can only happen in one instance in the game with fickle requirements. The trophy can only be obtained via the infamous Shotgun trap, where a ceiling is lowering and will crush Jill. This instance is fickle as it only happens if you’ve yet to meet Barry in any other part of the mansion (with exception of the beginning when you're looking for Wesker). To do so you’ll have to enter the shotgun room in the 1F West Wing of the Mansion. When trying to leave, both doors will lock and you’ll be trapped, simply inspect both doors to have Barry save you and earn this trophy.
It is important to note that there are two other instances when Barry saves you during the game. During the first encounter with Yawn, if you are bitten, Jill will faint outside the room and Barry will save you and restore you to full health. Alternatively, if you mix the V-Jolt and use it during the Plant 42 encounter, Barry will save you and defeat the boss. However, these two instances do NOT count for the trophy. Only the Shotgun trap will unlock this trophy.
MISSABLE!
This requires the Jill Sandwich scene. In order to get this scene you MUST obtain it before the Can of Fizz cut scene. Basically the fastest and easiest method is directly after obtaining the Sword Key, return to the Main Hall and go through the double doors on the first floor's right side. Inside the Art Room, open the door on the right here and head through the Cerberus corridor. Run along this next hallway until you reach a small black door across from a set of double-doors. Head inside, grab the Shotgun then go back to the previous square room.
The ceiling will start to lower, first try the door leading out to the hallway then turn around and try the door to the shotgun room. If you did not get the Can of Fizz scene yet, this door will also be locked and then the Jill Sandwich scene will occur. Barry will save your life and afterwards, the achievement will unlock.

Important Note: You cannot have the broken shotgun with you, if you do it leaves the door to the shotgun room unlocked and assessable. If you have the broken shotgun, store it in a Item Box.
Once you leave the Ceiling will start to lower. Run to both doors and try to open them, they both will not open and it will enter a cut scene where Barry will rescue you and the achievement will pop.
