There are 2 gold ingots to be found in treasure chests in each of the 30 levels.
Several of the levels have shops where you can buy another one.
If you want to complete the game you should also try to buy the gold ingot from every shop you come across as you will need the gold ingots to unlock "GEAR UP3" later.
Simply collect 25 for this achievement.
Achievements seem not to unlock when expected in this game but when going to the shop page from the starting menu.
