Just wanted to give you idea how bad/long this grind can be. After having finished all the other achievements except the 100,000 ones, I was at 41% for this achievement and around 12 hours played. Depending on your skill and guide use, this could be more or less.
I believe Trial 1 is best for grinding this out as you can absorb 400 bullets, kill 500 enemies and it takes around 5 minutes. This means that in 1 hour you can get around 5000 absorbs and 6000 kills, which equates to 5% per hour for this achievement.
So for me since I had around 60% left, I would need to keep playing trial 1 over and over for 12 hours to unlock this in the fastest way. Other modes have other weapons which are far more deadly and kill enemies quicker but absorption seemed slower.

Ugh, what an annoying grind. I haven't found a good way to turbo it, either. Hanging out on the first Story boss's second form seems to get you bullets more quickly (maybe 1k per 5 minutes), but it doesn't get you as many kills.
