After descending in the first lift, you'll be asked to go to the generators at the other side of the room. Descend the stairs and examine the crane on your left. Listen to the response. Then head behind you to the crates - examine those too, and listen to the response.
The achievement will unlock shortly afterwards.
Note there are many other items to examine in the room. It's rather funny hearing the AI get more and more frustrated with you!

You can examine the crates on your right without the need of examining the cranes beforehand and the achievement will pop

But before that examine crates on the right side for this achievement and annoy it a little.
