What do you mean by funicular?

A funicular railway is a type of cable railway system that connects points along a railway track laid on a steep slope. Here are the key features of funiculars:
Design: Funiculars consist of two counterbalanced carriages (also called cars or trains) permanently attached to opposite ends of a haulage cable. The cable is looped over a pulley at the upper end of the track.
Synchronous Movement: The two carriages move synchronously: as one ascends, the other descends at an equal speed. This distinguishes funiculars from inclined elevators, which have a single car hauled uphill.
Origin of the Term: The term “funicular” comes from the Latin word “funiculus,” meaning “rope.”
Operation: Both cars are permanently connected to the same cable (haul rope). The engine lifts the cable itself and the excess passengers, while the weight of the two cars counterbalances each other.
Passenger Comfort: Funicular carriages are often designed with a horizontal passenger deck for comfort, even on sloped tracks.
Bottom Towrope: Some funiculars use a second cable (bottom towrope) at the bottom of the incline to balance the weight between carriages.
Power Systems: Most modern funiculars use an electric motor linked to a drive bullwheel to control the movement of the haul rope.
Funiculars are commonly used to transport people and goods up steep hillsides, mountains, or cliffs. They combine the technology of elevators (cable pulling a car) with that of railroads (cars on a track).

During Chapter 4 you will be given option to either throw away device and follow Control or go through hatch to keep device.
If you are collecting all wish containers then do not throw away device.
anyhow in your 'follow Control' playthrough you will have to throw device anyway so it's better to get this achievement then.
2nd Playthrough start at Timestamp : 02:35:10 - 2nd Playthrough [Control]
This achievement timestamp: 03:32:30 - "Wilson!" Achievement
This is 100% complete guide to achieve all trophies in game.

Do this during your second run to get the Control Ending - in the funicular where you get choice of going through airlock or throwing the device out the window, throw the device and achievement will pop - be careful not do to this when going for the Grace ending or you'll need to restart! This is shown at 2:41:15 in this video.
This walkthrough will show you how to get all achievements in 2 hours 50 mins without needing a full second playthrough by using a couple of manual saves at the correct points.
