How to unlock the On The Lam achievement in Return to Monkey Island - Definitive Guide

In Act 4 once you are able, go to the Fish Shop on High street. Every time you enter the shop the lumpsucker moves closer and closer to the door on the floor. Guybrush will even mention he thinks it’s moving if you interact with the fish.

Keep entering and exiting the shop until it finally escapes. Takes about 20 or so cycles of entry/exit.

I've tried this twice now on both casual and hard mode and both times I've had the lumpsucker escape but no pop. Looks like it might be glitched?

If it’s not working for you, if you exit the shop, go into the alley next to it, then out of the alley and back into the shop, then this should progress it for you.

This achievement is missable and can only be done in the Part 4 on Mêlée Island. Every time you enter the fish shop, the lumpsucker on the floor will edge closer to the door. Leave and return to the fish shop until it manages to escape (and get the achievement).

While in the fish shop on Meleê Island, you might notice a yellow fish on the floor. This is a lumpsucker fish that's trying to escape! Every time you enter the fish shop, it'll have moved slightly further towards the door. So just enter and exit the fish shop over and over again until it reaches the door. The achievement unlocks when you enter the shop and the lumpsucker is no longer there, having found its freedom.
