This is actually not that difficult, as there is rarely a requirement to kill an enemy in a stage (aside from getting them out of the way or earning coins).
This can easily done on the first stage. The bunny character's special (
) allows him to perform a dash that will move through enemies/hazards without taking damage.
Just learn the outline of the stage and dash through enemies when needed. If you are still having issues with taking damage, stock up on some health items from town before attempting.
