Hello guys !
Here's my video to show you one good and early location for this achievement.You can obtain it at many different places but this is where i got mine.It's just after the Ancient Treasure achievement (also you have an Outfit to collect here):
You need to hold
during the dive to obtain the cheevo.

This was the only spot that worked for me, and I had to hold B for it to work.
Tried in other places in the game but none worked.

To cannonball into a body of water, use 
to jump forward and then hold either

to curl up. The requirement for this trophy lies in being able to perform a cannonball by jumping from a high-enough spot without reaching the boundary where it will respawn you.

I was able to unlock this trophy in the very beginning of chapter 1, after you get the first lullaby on top of the cliff. After getting the lullaby, turn around and jump off the cliff while holding the circle button. Trophy will unlock once you come up from underneath the water.

Jump off a cliff into the water. Not too high or you will die. Hold 
before you hit the water. Here is one (of many) places to do it.

You can do this early at the beginning of the game. From the start, just turn around and follow the path to the top. Once you’re up there, hop off and hold 
to do a cannonball in the water. The trophy should pop after a little while in the water. If it doesn’t work, then try and go higher and do it again.
