How to unlock the Fire Away! achievement in Ring of Pain - Definitive Guide
Knockback is a mechanic that, well, knocks the hit enemy back. The trick is that the hit enemy will still still strike you back, but one-shotting an explosive enemy will push it away before it blows up. Note: Knockback can not push enemies past blocker monsters or walls, so if you hit an exploder against a wall, it'll likely kill you, and it won't count as triggering knockback anyway.
There are a few items used to work towards this.
The best one to use by far is the (Blue) Gauntlet Inner Fury. It has -1 Strength but +3 speed and adds knockback to your every attack. Punch all the exploders you see and be strategic about where theyll blow you up still. This pairs well with the Misting Vessel as you can just stealth past all the other enemies to punch the exploders into them and still get decent soul gain.
The second best is Forceful, which is a (Blue) book. It gives you knockback for 5 turns, but the seven turn cooldown makes it more of a saving throw than something you can farm with.
The other items contribute, but much more randomly and less frequently. Still, grab them if you see them just to add one here and there to your counter if you arent directly farming this.
There's a Purple necklace called Momentum that pairs well with the misting vessel. It adds a second turn knock back so after you pass an enemy it will knock them back the other way. It also has fairly good stats with 5 speed and 2 attack. This one works well with the misting vessel, but without it you're likely to die very quickly due to enemies still hitting you every time you pass them.
There is a Gold (legendary) weapon called the Banishing Mace that will randomly teleport the enemy hit. This is unreliable and can just move the exploders to the other side of you or bring a more deadly monster closer. It also has to be in a late-game chest or paid for in a shop for a large number of souls, so the cost isnt usually worth it.
Theres also a random scroll later on in the endgame that grants a one-time teleport of an enemy to the rear of the dungeon called Banish but since it's single use, just use it if you see it or to get out of blockers in an emergency like the patience levels.

The easiest way: find a golden item - Metal Ox - leave 1 Fire Hive in any room and chase it around the room until you unlock the achievement
