After completing a run that you chose to light the candle you will unlock the Double Candle which lets you select a common item to start your run with.
Choose the Misting Vessel which grants 10% Stealth for every empty inventory slot and starts you with 130% stealth chance (counter stops at 100% but this allows for picking up 3 more items). This also has a chance of spawning for you in room 1 without having to first beat the game.
You will have to get at least 15 souls to buy an item in the first shop after room 3 or you will be forced to pick the potion. So kill a few weak enemies before then and stealth past the rest.
