A simple method for unlocking this achievement is to play Double Candle on Hard Mode and start with Icebreaker, you'll be just 1 Max Health and 2 Attack away from matching the stats of a Flailing Mound.

A)This is a fantastic call out.
B)I didn't run into any Flailing Mounds until room 3, so that gives you enough time to get the 3 stat upgrades. They basically look like Krang from TMNT with arms.
