For what's it worth, playing with the Ox candle seems to be a great option for this so you can lean into the attacks.

the ox candle gives me the impression of removing synergy from the builds, unfortunately there are sources of damage that kill you equally at very high levels of defense (50+), in my opinion the double candle is better to be able to start taking advantage
