There are 3 hidden characters, Sachael, Zephirial, and Jachim. They are recruited by doing mission replays. Pretty sure you have to recruit Sachael first.
Sachael: Mission 3 replay, spot directly north of Gaiacus
Zephiriels: Mission 15 replay, spot directly west of Divinis, must NOT have Sachael or Jachim in your active party.
Jachim: Mission 21 replay, spot directly north of Fortes, must NOT have Sachael or Zephiriel in your active party.
Sachael: Mission 3 replay, spot directly north of Gaiacus
Zephiriels: Mission 15 replay, spot directly west of Divinis, must NOT have Sachael or Jachim in your active party.
Jachim: Mission 21 replay, spot directly north of Fortes, must NOT have Sachael or Zephiriel in your active party.
