Like in the Creature Fighter achievement, you have to kill everything in your way and this will pop automatically.
The Creature Fighter achievement in Rise of Nightmares worth 35 pointsYou cannot always run from danger.
For Creature Slayer, you must defeat 500 enemies. This seems like a cumulative achievement, dying does not erase the counting (I got Creature Fighter right after I "resurrected", by killing the same monster I already killed once)
The Creature Slayer achievement in Rise of Nightmares worth 157 pointsLeave nothing moving in your wake.
Also, I couldn't find an actual "counter stat" in the game, so either you count every monster you slay, or you can just play and wait for the cheevo to pop :))

Finished my first Playtrough and it popped during Chapter 3 on my 2nd Playtrough

I saw in another guide that on act 10 scene 1 there are infinite spawning creatures, might be useful for those that already have the completion cheevos and need to get some of these kills done

Kill 500 creatures by any means. This will likely unlock sometime in Act 7 or the beginning of your second playthrough, depending on how vigilant you are at killing things.
