How to unlock the Mad Bomber achievement in Rise of Nightmares - Definitive Guide

For this achievement you must get (50?) kills with test tubes found throughout the game. Weapons which count for this are ones like "Volotile Test Tube" and "Golden Test Tube". Test tubes stack and are thrown and explode on impact.

Can you recommend some places to find a good stash of tubes?

The only spot I can think of off hand is at the start of scene 1 of chapter 10, the to left out of the first room.

For all others who want to know where to find many; scene 3, after the slice, you´ll find a room with 2 packs on the racks, pick one, leave the other, go through the hall, operate the lever, which opens up the door upstairs and throw some to your 2 kind guests; for the other 3 angry customers, you´ll need to pick up the tubes on the table. Descend, go back to the first room where you left one pack of tubes, pick it up and you´ll get 4 to 6 more.

Kill 50 creatures with exploding test tubes. These include:

  • Golden Test Tube
  • Volatile Test Tube


Your kill counts carry over from each playthrough, so this will eventually unlock this as long as you use this type of weapon when available.
