Rise of the Argonauts

To get the Weaponmaster achievement, you must find and obtain 13 different weapons and pieces of armor.

First, this entire guide was created with the help of the walkthrough located here:

Use that guide in conjunction with this if you get lost or stuck during the quests.

Iolcus

The first weapon is Xenos’ mace. To find Xeno advance through the story to Idas, who will say there is a disturbance in the village. Go down to the village and you will find a small crowd of people with a man yelling. Initiate the conversation with him, ultimately defeating him. You can tell him to leave his stake, which is the mace.

The second weapon will be past Xeno, in the caves. Once in the cave you will find two sorcerers battling it out. After the cutscene you must defeat some minions, which spawns another cutscene. After this, you can grab the War Armor, located on a pedestal in the back of this room.

Next head up from the caves and back out to where Xeno was. In the building immediately to your right you will find Idas. Keep in mind, you *must* have completed the side quest of selecting a new Captain when you first meet Idas. Talk to Idas and you will receive his sword.

The final weapon on Iolcus is the javelin, given by Mnason. Head down to the beach (turn right before entering the cave) and to the farthest left building. Mnason will be outside this building, and you can talk to him to receive his son’s spear.


Mycenae

The first and second weapons/armor are story related and won’t be missed; they are the Gladiator armor and the Spear the Daedelus created for you just prior to the fight.

The third weapon is the mace, specifically Deimos. You will get this during your final fight on the island, it can not be missed.


Saria

The first weapon is received after you deliver the Last Rites for several of the spirits on Saria. When you finally return to the village, go to the back wall in Atalanta’s hut and you will receive a new spear.

The second weapon is a new mace, given to you by Agrios. You must convince Agrios to let you cut down the murderer’s body in the village, give the last rites, then return to Agrios to receive the mace.

You will also get a piece of armor from Lykas after the big fight between you and Nessus. It can’t be missed.


Kythra

The first weapon you will receive is a mace, which you get after you rescue all of the people on Kythra. Talk to the Silver Guard members and you will receive the mace.

The second weapon is the Thorn of Hades, a sword. You will receive it after defeating Phaedon in Athena’s temple (take the left path after Pan offers to recite the story of the Golden Fleece).

The third weapon received on Kythra is a special spear. You will get it after you encounter Perseus in Athena’s temple. It can not be missed.
The final piece of armor you receive is on Kythra, right after your fight with Medusa. Perseus will give you his armor. After you receive this armor, you will unlock the Weaponmaster achievement.
