How to unlock the My Own Worst Enemy achievement in Rise of the Tomb Raider - Definitive Guide

A quick way to do this is to choose a tomb or the first level (called the prophet's tomb) and pick someone high up on the leaderboard, you can pay 2000 credits to use their cards and if they are very high up they are almost guaranteed to be up to 200% or more.

Mine actually unlocked where I was only on +125% from cards so this leads me to believe that the score is counted in addition to the base 100%. (i.e. you didn't use cards to lower the score %). Hope this helps :)

Edit: Runner eGirl has suggested playing "Voice of God" instead as it is a short level too. I've attached a link for a playthrough of this level

Further Edit: Lockie and I would both recommend you don't pick a card with "press x to grip ledges" it is a very hard one to remember to do and there are far easier ones you can use to hit 100% (no deaths for example)

Paying 2000 credits to use the same cards as someone on the leaderboards is definitely the way to go, but I would choose the tomb The Voice of God instead of the prophet's tomb, as it is much shorter.

Make sure you don't choose a person who has a "Press X to grip ledges" card. Learned the hard way that my hand's muscle memory wasn't ready for that. laugh

Expeditions Mode only.

For this achievement, you need to apply cards (see also "These Belong in A Museum" above) with a total score multiplier of 200% or more to a given encounter and then complete the chapter. This is most readily achieved with the chapters that focus on a single Challenge Tomb, as you're unlikely to take damage here so damage-related effects aren't problematic to deal with. I suggest in particular the cards that those which disable health regeneration (which isn't possible on Survivor difficulty anyway) and those that start Lara with no ammunition (often not required for Challenge Tombs, or readily available from ammo pickups).

(Online)

In Score Attack, replay a challenge tomb and equip cards with negative effects until you see a 200% score multiplier (or more). Cards that block health regeneration or let you start with zero ammo are great score boosters. Challenge Tombs are very short and don’t have any enemies.

That is, if you need 11,000 points, knock out >22,000

turns out automatically, since in any case cards with a point multiplier are used

You need the sum of the cards you take for the test to be + 200% or more. It doesn’t matter how many points you score, you just need to pass the test.

You need to set your cards to +200% or higher and, for example, replay the first level. For example video.
