How to unlock the These Belong in A Museum achievement in Rise of the Tomb Raider - Definitive Guide

More of a helpful hint rather a guide, I found a rather quick and simple farming method, load up the "Chamber of Exorcism" tomb in score attack expedition. Select survivor difficulty and complete the tomb, it's the shortest and easiest tomb in the game. It takes roughly 2-3 minutes to do. Playing on survivor gives you a huge time bonus which is what awards you a gold score easily. A gold score awards you 10.000 credits. farm until you have enough credits and buy the bronze packs from the marketplace section. You are awarded 5 cards for 5000 credits. Rinse and repeat until you have 300 cards.

EDIT - apparently selling cards will also take away from your progress, I haven't tried this as I already had the achievement and never sold any cards. Thanks to Radish Demon for the heads up

I waited until the "post game" to start buying cards and didn't need to farm credits at all - I only did the one score attack as well.

When you get cards, there are some you should sell. They are negative score multiplers but have a selling value of 1600, 3200 or 6400. You won't be using them in the expidition mode anyway, and you can buy a bronze pack for 5000. You can turn these cards into more cards by doing this.

I wouldn't sell them....I had 69% sold quite alot to see if I could get the Unlimited Bomb Arrows for beating on the game on Survivor and it dropped me to 42%

You can also earn credits by watching Feeds of Rise of the Tomb Raider on the Twitch app on Xbox One.

If you complete the game 100% you will have exactly the right amount of credits to purchase 300 cards.

Selling cards does NOT decrease your progress. I just unlocked the achievement and i sold cards before. Under ALL cards i have: 279 and it still popped.

If you have the 20 year anniversary edition, finish the game (not 100%), you should have 79% in your tracker...because you are given A LOT of cards with all the DLC...that's 237 cards, in order to reach 300, you would need 63 more cards, at 5000 credits for 5 bronze cards, you would need 13 more packs, which is 65,000 points....I'm at 90% with a lot of challenges left, and I still had 170,000 credits (way more then enough!!!)

Between the credit rewards involved in completing challenges, missions, tombs, collecting all the relics, and the card rewards from the story you can easily get this post-story.

Basically finishing the story and going for
Rise of the Tomb RaiderNo Stone UnturnedThe No Stone Unturned achievement in Rise of the Tomb Raider worth 113 pointsAchieve 100% game completion
will net you enough credits to buy bronze card packs to unlock this one.

Solution works. I'd advise getting 100% completion so you can be sure to have enough credits.

Yep! Finished with over 200,000 credits from in-game and bought enough Bronze packs to nab this achievement.

wrong , i'm currently at 99%, only have the glitched carrier bird left and only able to get to 258 cards, you need to also do time trials

That's the 300 card achievement might be glitched

I got no stone unturned and was 8k credits short of this. Had already done some score attacks as well at this point. You also need to do some score attacks as 100% leaves you short.

I did nothing but 100% the story and did what they said here and in the end had 300 cards with 8000 credits left.

The Achievement said it was done unlocking but it has over a week since then and it's saying the achievement is locked so I was wondering whether it was glitched, like the Misguided intelligence mission where the green circle pulses and no bird to be found.

i finished collecting everything and 100%ing at about 240 cards. Though i was having some connection problems with the servers where it would take my money but not give me the cards, so i should have been alot higher.. still wouldnt have made the 300 count though.
Still, after doing all the gold expedition achievement, that should easily be enough. Even if copying someone on the leaderboard for the 2k fee.

(Online)

Cards are only available in Expeditions Mode but you must be signed into PSN before you can buy any, though fortunately you don't need PS+. You don't need 300 cards at the same time. You may consume the cards as you wish since they will still count towards this trophy. Cards act as modifiers when you replay chapters in expeditions mode. You can buy them with credits from the marketplace. Credits are awarded by replaying chapters or getting the gold medals in score attack. You also receive lots of free card packs and credits from completing the main game to 100% (can be redeemed in the gifts section of marketplace). Each pack has 5 cards so you need to buy 60 packs in total. The marketplace has different rarity packs available. For the trophy, you should only buy the cheapest option for 5,000 credits. 60 card packs x 5,000 credits = 300,000 credits total.

After completing the game to 100% you should have enough credits to get close to 300 cards. Each gold medal in score attack is worth an extra 10,000 credits. When you spend your credits wisely and stick to the cheapest packs, you shouldn't have any trouble at all and it will come naturally as you go for the other expedition trophies. See here for an exploit you can use (credit to Elyther for discovering this): LINK

Expeditions Mode only, requires online connection.

"Expeditions Mode" allows you to replay individual sections ("chapters") of the game, with the ability to apply a variety of modifiers to the encounter by means of "cards", purchasable from the in-game marketplace using either in-game credit or real money. In the course of completing your main playthrough and working towards 100% completion, you'll be granted a number of free packs of cards (which can be redeemed under the "gifts" tab of the marketplace) and a significant amount of credit.

The marketplace has 6 different types of card pack available for purchase, each of which contains 5 cards - so to unlock this achievement, you'll need to 'open' a total of 60 packs. For this achievement, I'd recommend just purchasing the cheapest type of pack, which is "bronze", costing 5,000 credits each. If you do so, you should find that, together with the free packs, you have enough credit to get very close to the 300 card total required for this achievement, but will likely be around 3-4 packs short. The 15,000-20,000 credits that you'll need to purchase these packs will come very quickly as you complete chapters in Expeditions Mode (for example, each Gold Medal completion will award 10,000 credits).

In general, each card can only be used once, but you'll also find that you get some "foil" cards, which can be used repeatedly. These cards are differentiated with a gold border and a 'shine' effect that moves across them. Note that using a card doesn't remove it from the cumulative 300 total required for this achievement.

As you play the game, you earn cards that can be used for Expeditions, as well as points. Simply buy them in the Shop using points you earned until you get 300 hundreds.

(I finished the game with around 250 cards.)

It's best not to sell cards until you get the trophy.

However, there is a trick: when a card is collected in 3-4 copies, it disappears from the drop list. Accumulate bronze and silver cards, selling only the rarer ones, at some point the set will simply begin to pay for itself (more details here ).

Explore the area, visit all the tombs, crypts, caves as you progress from the very beginning as much as possible, complete available tasks in the locations. 300 cards will be obtained by the 60th percent of completion!

It is not necessary to have 300 cards at the same time. Even if they received it and immediately sold it. She will count.

Nothing complicated. After completing the story campaign, go to the “market” section and buy 5 cards from the bronze set, which cost 5,000 credits. There will also be gift cards and quite a lot of them. We take them all. If you beat the game 2 times, like I did, then the credits should be enough. We buy until the achievement comes out

Note! Cards must be COLLECTED, not purchased! Don't make my mistake: first buy 300 cards, get an achievement and only then sell the ones you don't need!
