How to unlock the Craftswoman achievement in Rise of the Tomb Raider - Definitive Guide

You'll find the equipment menu at the base camps. Go to the inventory menu, and voila - next to ammunition crafting menu is the equipment crafting menu.
This is an achievement which generally will unlock through standard play however if you want to get it out of the way, select each item and look at the menu below which shows the items required to upgrade. Now go farm!

It says I've crafted 5 pieces of equipment, but no achievement.. is this maybe because 1 or more of the things I've crafted were automatic unlocks perhaps? Anyone knows, please help!

As well as weapon upgrades, at base camps Lara is able to craft new/upgraded pieces of equipment, again making use of resources collected from the game world. Simply craft any five pieces of equipment to unlock this achievement.

At any campfire, go: "Inventory" => "Equipment" and from here you can craft new quivers, ammo pouches etc. These upgrades are geared towards more inventory space because they let you carry more resources and ammo. Crafting them requires animal hide and cloth but some require exotic animal skins e.g. bear hide. Craft any 5 of them to unlock the trophy.

In the ABANDONED MINES location, at the site of the second skirmish with enemies, you can easily find a fireproof box, inside of which there is an improvement tool.

Taking into account the skins of only the first bear, the skins of exotic animals (a white wolf at night, a deer with big antlers on a clear day, a large cat) and regular skins, you can make seven bags.

Visit any BASE CAMP - BACKPACK - EQUIPMENT:

• HUNTING QUIVER
• PACK
• Duffel bag
• CARTRIDGE PIECE ON A GUNS BODY
• CARTRIDGE PIECE FOR RIFLE CARTRIDGES

• BAG FOR PISTOL CARTRIDGES
