How to unlock the The Head Of The Sanwa Group achievement in River City Girls Zero - Definitive Guide
It's not often that a final boss fight feels anticlimactic, but after the Ken boss fight, Sabu almost seems easy in comparison! I recommend the approach in the video below--using the flying kick (LS towards Sabu and A+B) until Sabu's finally down.
Note that Sabu fires as soon as you gain control, so immediately launch a flying kick so you don't lose a massive chunk of health. You can only survive one gunshot per playable character, so if you can't avoid that first shot, immediately switch to your other character.
You don't specifically need to walk to the other side of Sabu while he's down, but it's useful to keep him onscreen and I found that it helped with my timing. You want to start your flying kick as soon as he stands up--he'll still be blinking (i-frames), but he shoots quickly and by jumping his shot will pass under you, and by the time you reach him his i-frames have expired.
It took me about three attempts to complete this using the approach above. It's also possible to attempt to stand up to Sabu and trade punches, but I sure wouldn't advise it. :)
