This is the boss in the 8th world. He has a shield that must be lowered 3 different times. There are pillars around the level that you have to hit with your weapon. Once all of them are hit, his shield lowers and you can take away 33% of his health. Then the shields go back up and you repeat the process. Don’t worry about dying, his health stays the same even after you die.

Just killed this boss and never even saw him. Think he fell off the edge of the arena.
