Romeo Ur-Ribitt is the boss of Hogmarsh Hollow--the third adventure.

Clear out the minions every time they spawn and keep your distance from the boss--using the default gun on the boss is effective. I wouldn't suggest melee weapons on the boss because touching the boss damages you and uses heavy attacks when you're near.

This boss level is really cluttered too, so be proactive in staying ahead of enemies so you don't get trapped and lose your health super fast. Trying to jump over all the clutter isn't advisable either, you often get stuck trying to outrun enemies, so either clear up the area or just constantly circle the room as you kite the boss.

The achievement pops after defeating the boss.

A suggestion from Dwaggienite: I tried beating him three times, and it didn't pop. When I beat him those three times, there were still minions alive. That might have something to do with it. I'd recommend making sure that all minions of the room are dead before delivering the final blow.

I've done this twice and still can't seem to get the achievement. Any suggestions?

Strange. It popped for me on my first try. I beat all the adventures without ever dying, so I don't know if that's somehow a factor. How are you killing the boss? Do you wait for the 30 second countdown after victory?

A general solution may be to ensure you are connected to Live the whole time. Perhaps quit and restart the game to run the adventure again. If nothing works, maybe a reinstall?

I had no issues with achievements at all in Riverbond. Let me know when you figure it out.

I was playing on xbox one. I tried beating him three times, and it didn't pop. When I beat him those three times, there were still minions alive. That might have something to do with it.

It popped the fourth time I beat him, but it was the first time I made sure that all minions were dead first.

I'd recommend making sure that all minions of the room are dead before delivering the final blow.

This could possibly be it. I wonder if the minions can damage the boss? Maybe one of them was getting the final blow.

All three times? Possibly... but unlikely. I'd suggest just adding a note about it in your solution.

Oddly, I've not had that issue with any of the other bosses so far, so it may have just been my game deciding to bug out.

Can confirm that you need to have no minions alive when you kill the boss. First time it didn’t pop with 1 minion left, second time it popped with 0 minions left.
