How to unlock the Practice Makes Perfect achievement in RoboCop: Rogue City - Definitive Guide

This achievement is for maxing out one of the attributes of Robocop - combat, armour, etc. You gain a skill point for every 1,000 points you get via in game challenges - completing levels/sub missions, collecting stolen goods, finding files, etc.

What you can do if you want to get this achievement is save up your points. You need 10 to max a level and if you want you can save up 10, put all your points into one attribute such as combat, and then when the achievement unlocks, reload the checkpoint. This will give you all your points back and let you put them in a spread of skills if you want. It will probably take until the Steel Mill level to get enough points to do this.

This way you get the achievement and can still put the points into the skills you actually want to.

Edit: by the end of the game, I had maxed 4 skills (combat, armor, health and engineering), so you will likely have a lot of opportunity to get this - you don’t need to max it straight away.

Good luck!!

Do not save up points and then reload checkpoint. You will lose all of those points and the upgrades upon reload.

This achievement requires you to invest 10 skill points into any skill to max it out. While not technically missable, it could require you to replay multiple main and side missions if you don't make it a point to do this.

If you're just going for achievements and to make the game easiest, you'll likely be maxing out Combat, Armor, Engineering, and maybe even Vitality. I personally maxed out all four of those, but I didn't put any points in any others except Deduction.

Alternatively, you can save up skill points until you have enough to max a skill, then max that skill, then reload your checkpoint to get all skill points back so you can spend them how you want.

If you play through the entire game and don't max a skill, you can use chapter select to reload an earlier chapter and you'll have whatever skill points you had at that point. You then need to play from there to get more skill points to max a skill. It can be a pain, so get this out of the way along the way.

You need to pump 10 points into any skill. You will receive significantly more of them per game (about 30+), so you can plan your build based on this calculation.

Don't forget that 6 points need to be pumped into engineering to get some of the trophies.
