Robotron: 2084

This achievement requires 2 players to get to the goal, Wave 11.

Therefore each player should be able to do this task on their own to make things smoother AND cooperate to do it together.............. So you would think.

Solution for CO-OP In Robotron: 2084 This has the only really known solution for the co-op in this game. This method requires both of you to do the same task together within match/connection. Now this is a fun novelty for those with experience who need something to spice it up in between getting to and , but for boosting and people looking to get it done quickly, this is not the way to go, for at least 2 reasons (A.and B.).


A) LAG. In a game where microseconds mean everything, lag can be the greatest enemy against you. That leads me into my second reason.


B) Communication. Again, during a game where split seconds count communication with someone you sent a party invite to 5 minutes ago or just met may seem pushy or uncomfortable........ or you may have issues with reason A which makes things even worse.




My solution is as followed.
Set up a Private
(not ranked or you will risk making a lot harder on yourself)
Versus match and invite the boosting partner. If you have connection issues there swap the invite pattern. This mode not only allows you to move AND shoot on your way to the co-op achievement, but is far less stressfull because of reasons A and B.
Just both make it to wave 11 on your ends. Communication here is still relivent as someone may be using their last life on wave 12 while another has 4 lives on wave 8. Try to both make it to wave 11 in this mode and you will both unlock the achievement!
