As soon as levels 1 and 2 start, move towards the humans. Shoot the enemies as you approach to make sure that they don't kill the humans you're trying to save, but DON'T kill all of the enemies. If you do, you will end the round immediately to move onto the next one and you will be unable to save all the remaining humans.

Right off the bat, go straight for the humans. Make sure you do not kill all enemies as this will automatically warp you to the next level and you will not be able to save the remaining humans. Do this on levels 1 and 2 to get this achievement.
