How to unlock the Fill Legend achievement in Rock Band 2 - Definitive Guide

It asks if I can do better and I can. In the menu go to training and there will be a option called "drum trainer" go to that you will have to options "fill trainer" and "beat trainer". youll have to play all the fills and beats they take sometime but just do it all at 100bpm youll have a option to go to 200bpm also some of them can be pretty tricky.

using the controller buttons instead of the drum pads on the drumset and a foot pedal also worked to get me through some of the tough ones!

You only have to do the fill parts which are the really short part where you hit about 10 notes and then hit the green note to go into overdrive. I suck at drums and was able to do half of them at 180 PM. I had my wife help me doing the bass pedal so I could focus on the rest.

Took your advice and aimed for half at 180 bpm. Got 1-19, 24, 39, 40, 43

For some reason I didn't even read the 'or half of the fills at 180 BPM' part until I read your solution. Thanks... I did this really quickly. smile

Is there a way to know which you have completed?

I found an easy way to this, and it doesen't require much skill either. First you do all the beats/fills which you can do yourself, when you get stuck you get somebody else to play the bass pedal for you while you take care of the drum pads. I had my father helping me, and it took like two minutes to do some of the harder fills and beats, which I had been struggling to get. (This works for both the Fill and Beat trainer achievements!)

Good luck! :)

Do you have to hit EVERY note in a fill to count it as completed?

For this one you have to beat half of the fills on the higher speed or all of the fills on the lower one. Again, half on the higher difficulty is easier. You have to complete a fill after doing a simple beat. Just focus on the fill, you don't have to do any of the beat to get 100%. To complete a fill, you must get 100% without overhitting a pad. These two are stackable also, so if you do half the beats at 180BPM, you will get both fill achievements.

Same as before doing half at the higher speed is easier. If you beat The Beat Goes On you shouldnt have too much trouble with this one. Just beat half of them at 180BPM or all of them at 100BPM whichever tickles your fancy.

For these two trophies in Drum Trainer Beat mode, you need to either hit half the Phils at fast speed or all the Phils at low speed. Just like in “The Beat Goes On”, it is better to focus on half of the philes on a high difficulty level, since some of the hits are quite heavy and getting 100% will not be easy. And here you will need to make a fill after completing the blow. To complete the phil you need to score 100% without getting too bored on the "drum". To simplify the process, you can also invite a friend. If you receive this trophy, you will automatically receive the "Fill Me In" trophy.
