How to unlock the Gold Artist achievement in Rock Band 2 - Definitive Guide

The best advice that I have for this is to practice, practice, PRACTICE! If you can't beat the more difficult songs on hard (songs like Visions, Panic Attack, or Pain Killer) you will need to practice them until you can beat them regularly. If you can get someone to play with you, it would be of great help, so you can save each other when possible, just make sure that they are at the same difficulty as you because the lowest difficulty that any of you use is the level at which you will both be counted (example you are on expert but your bassist is on medium, you will only get the vinyl artist award). Make sure that you are ready for a long haul too. It clocks in at over 6 hours to complete.

Okay, I'd just like to fill in some of the gaps. To unlock the "Endless Setlist 2" you will need to gain at least 900 stars in Band World Tour. It will then unlock in the Shanghai venue. Would also like to add that you do not have to play any DLC you might have downloaded (which is a good job because I really can't play Snow (Hey Oh)).

This is to beat the Endless Setlist 2 on Hard. A bit more difficult, as guitarists will have to worry about the orange button now, but nothing too hard. If you fail a song, you can retry it as many times as it takes, but you will keep losing fans. Keep in mind that this is also binded by the lowest difficulty, so everyone has to be on hard. Do a brief quickplay session going through the hardest songs to make sure you can beat them.

Same as Vinyl Artist but now you have to beat it on hard. Play your best instrument and make sure you can play every song on hard. Maybe practice your oranges a bit if your not too comfortable with them. You can fail a song and pause the only requirement is you beat the setlist on hard mode.
