How to unlock the Overdrive Overdose achievement in Rock Band 2 - Definitive Guide
Have all four band members use their overdrive at the same time. The achievement won't show up until after the song is finished.
This is one of those achievements you will most likely get by pure chance but if you are like me and don’t like letting things happen your own way then you can plan ahead. Basically what you need to do is have all four members of you band use Overdrive at the same time. The best way to plan this is to all get your Overdive bar to full then let the drummer hit Overdrive first. I find it is harder for a drummer to get theres in so best to allow them to start off. Once they have done so its just a case of all other hitting their Overdrive at the same time. The achievement should unlock after the song is over.

So this has to be a 4 player band then? You can't do it with 2 ppl?

You need a full four member band and have all of you activate overdrive at the same time.
You need 4 band members for this trophy. You can achieve this on any song and you can easily achieve this when going for the Million Point Club trophy. Have the drummer deploy his overdrive first with the vocals, guitarist and bassist soon after. Its easiest when the drummer deploys his overdrive first because he is the most restricted on when he can use it.

To add this multiplier. You need to play as a team of four people, and all of them activate overdrive at the same time.

It is possible to receive locally together. Song Give it Away. The microphone is "on the fan", the second person plays the guitar, and you sit down on the drums and bass. Just play games with overdrive one at a time to accumulate it. All instruments are on easy, which will allow you to play 2 instruments alternately (the main thing is to make sure they don’t throw it away). We wait for the vocals to turn on overdrive, then we turn on the drums and press on the guitars.
