In band world tour, this occurs randomly, be sure to accept the challenge. Finish the song and bleep bloop! Just be patient with it and you should get this very easily

keep playing in BWT and it will ask you if you want to make a video and you accept the challange

To unlock the You Killed the Radio Star trophy in Rock Band 2 you need to look out for the related challenge during your World Tour (these happen randomly). Just complete the challenge and you will unlock the trophy.

Sadly, you won't actually get to make a music video. Instead of your band just playing on stage, they will be in a funky music video. Before you are able to unlock a plane, you will get an offer from a film student to make a video for you. You will get no money, but you will get more fans. Just play through the chosen song and you get the achievement. You will get multiple opportunities to play in videos, so don't worry if you skip it the first time.

This is one of those random events you are offered. You will definitely get this by the time you beat the game. I always seemed to get it in Chicago the first time iIplay White Wedding (Part 1) by Billy Idol. Don't worry about this one though it will come eventually.

Unfortunately, despite the description, you will not be given the opportunity to create a video clip. Just another performance will be made into a video clip. Shortly before you open the plane, you will receive an invitation from an aspiring film director to shoot a video. You won't get any money for this, but you will get a lot of fans. Play the selected song and the trophy is yours. You'll have several opportunities to earn this trophy throughout the game, so don't be discouraged if you missed the first offer.
