How to unlock the Flawless Singing achievement in Rock Band Classic Rock - Definitive Guide
I put together an audio track that will FC Rock and Roll Band by Boston on expert and I'm posting it up in a video. Just turn up your volume on your computer and put the mic up to a speaker. You'll want to start the video just after the first note is passing the center line on the overdrive meter. If you're synched up well enough, the video will 100% the song and achievement unlocked

Actually, it is MUCH easier to do it on Funk #49 by The James Gang. It only has three sections, each with four phrase. Each phrase is identical to that of the previous section, except for the first phrase in each section. Also this is a pretty common song, played in many movies, so universally it is easy, just try to sing it the best you can, and if all else fails, hum. Don't tense up though!

Remember that you can try to adjust how do you sing before a phrase. I had problem with the last section, and singing before the phrase helped me a lot. Just use your star power before the vocal solo and you're all set :)

As always, a song that you are very familiar with is more likely to be a good choice for this achievement than a song that you've only heard once or twice.
A couple of the best choices are Baba O'Riley and Behind Blue Eyes, both by The Who. While the former has a very long intro, there are only 19 phrases total in the entire song.
And for the lamest yet most necessary piece of advice, practice takes perfect. It's likely that this will be the hardest "100% rating" achievement to get, so it won't come right away for anyone but the best vocalists.

Seconding that yes, a song that you are intimately familiar with (that is, ideally, within your singing range) is going to be much easier on you, regardless of what the stated difficulty is. (I got this on "Can't Stand Losing You", which I've heard approximately one scrillion times at various points in my life.)
It should also be noted that the Rock Band Track Packs all appear to based on the RB1 vocal engine, which is a little bit less forgiving than the RB2 engine. So if you're pretty good at vocals but seem to be falling just short on some phrases, this is probably why!
