How to unlock the Flawless Groove achievement in Rock Band - Definitive Guide
Do Charlene it has less than 100 notes and is a little over 1 minute long very easy. Its free DLC so no reason to do a harder song.

and if you have two guitars, do tug of war and it's only 41 notes.

Easiest songs to get it on are probably Say It Ain't So and Wanted Dead or Alive, though it's subjective depending on what your in-game strengths/weaknesses are. Alternatively, if you have spare MS points, download "Silver" by the Pixies which has an incredibly easy bass chart, as well as an incredibly easy drum chart so if you don't have the flawless drum achievement you can get it on Silver too. Remember it's upstrums only.

Try it on "Learn to Fly" by the Foo Fighters too. It may take some practice but you will learn the rhythm quickly.

Do something in the way by Nirvana this song is DLC. Video below. Notice you don't have to hold the note just upstrum to get and and move on that way when the blue to orange comes you are ready and waiting for it.

+1 for this. I was trying Linger for a long time, but it has 4 tricky O->Y->G parts. I paid $10 to download the Nirvana pack for this, Polly (drums / vocals), and the others aren't bad songs .... [/shame]

I did this on Maps by the Yeah yeah yeah.
I didnt upload this video. It was uploaded by Warlord313 on youtube.

Actually by far the easiest song I've found is "We Will Rock You" by Queen. It consists mainly of a G,G,O repeat until close to the final when it goes to G,G,BO
Extremely easy. The video I've attached was done in Lego: Rock Band but it can be done in RB and RB2.

Another: Mississippi Queen. It's a short song, and kind of slow, so you can easily up-strum consistently. That's how I nailed the achievement.
Blitzkreig Bop. Only three colours to worry about (G, R, Y), and it's largely just the same note repeated many times. Short song as well, and unlike Charlene it won't make you want to rip your eyes out having to listen to it more than once if you fail. :)
I got this on Mississippi Queen. Just make sure in the big rock ending, you don't strum down.
Like Xitl said above, Charlene is the easiest song. One thing I have to add is that you can't win this achievement if you use the solo buttons on the Rock Band 2 and 3 guitars. You need to be playing with the buttons at the top of the neck of the guitar.
Surprised it hasn't been mentioned, but if you have a mirror or something reflective, you can always play it normally with the lefty flip option on (or off if you normally play lefty) and follow the chart in the reflection. I have difficulty playing with up-strums in general, so this was by far the easiest way to knock this out for me. It also doesn't have to be a mirror, I happen to have a china hutch with a glass door behind my TV and can see the reflection clear as day if I turn off the lights in the room. Anything with a glass surface that you can see the screen in the reflection should be sufficient.
To do this, go to quick play, and select Should I Stay or Should I Go. For you instrument, pick bass, then select expert. Basically, play through the song only strumming up on your controller. This can be done on the X-Plorer, Les Paul, or the Fender. I don't recommend hitting anything in the Big Rock Ending because it could cause accidental down strums.
