How to unlock the High King achievement in Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break - Definitive Guide

Ranking system is associated with Rock of Ages "Break - Community Levels" (multiplayer) function. Here's what I've discovered

Squire = 1,000 points
Knight = 2,000 points
Lord = 3,000 points
King = 4,000 points
High King = 5,000 points

-Only way to obtain ranking points is to play "War" game mode.
-This can be done solo against an AI. There's an easy map called "Xbox upload" (ID: 3E327) that I used that was very short and simple
-I was able to get this in one sitting, and as you climb the ranking system the number of points you obtain appears to drop
-Damage and time does not appear to affect points

This guide, is meant to help those who, like me, enjoyed previous Rock of Ages, but are skeptical of the addition of a ranking system. The game has only been out for a few days, so all this is subject to change. If you have better alternatives, then by all means, put them out there. Happy hunting!

Just a note, the AI seems to be tracked to run straight up the middle, on that particular level, almost 99.00% of the time. I would place guillotines in a line down the middle and worked really well.

Found a faster map.

It's called Achievement Vs.

Its ID is 3E899

It's an even faster win, and the AI can't even use it's own rock. So unlike Xbox Upload, there's zero chance of losing.

Is anyone able to break the castle gate it 2 hits? Tried using brick rock which did 240 damage every hit on Achievement map but even though AI life bar was empty after 2 hits, I still had to roll for a 3rd time... Wish it was possible to progress faster :D

Beginner rock is 3 hits at 200 damage. Fist rock did 225 damage and also 3 hits

If you do this with a friend online, you can play against the AI still. It only takes two turns instead of three to break the door since you have two boulders going at the same time.

EarthboundX comment is spot on. Just watched vids while waiting for boulder launch.

Earthbound has found the best map sure. However, this is still a drag as it takes so long to actually get progress when you're only awarded 183 points. Least its easy.

Nah i tried every boulder, it's always gonna be 3-4 hits to open the gate, depending on damage output.

Go with a Sand Boulder, it's got faster recharge time and pretty decent damage of 180 to the gate. I think it took me around 30 wins with every 4 minutes per match to get 5000 points. So maybe 2 hours total?

Pretty simple grind. The map Achievement Vs. Is the best one IMO. The AI doesn't even play.

Seems like everytime I win I get less points. Started at around 300 now I only get less than 200 points and it takes forever to accumulate them.

Bit of a grind, but easy to do while watching Youtube or something similar.

Look for a war map called "Trophy". Just need 3 hits per round, AI rock will just get confused and not do anything - roll off the side at speed and instantly hit the enemy door.

Your points per win drops each time, so I guess it will have taken around 20-25 runs total to reach the 5000 points required for this, with each run being around 5 minutes.
