I would definitely recommend doing this on bass in quickplay. Bass is much easier compared to the other 2 instruments. You shouldnt really have much trouble with the songs unless you dont usually play expert. They have fairly simple bass lines and you should be able to do it just fine.

Well I was able to complete ALMOST every song on bass quickplay except for Holy Wars... burn in hell Konami

I got this achievement easily,if your good at guitar you can get it by just playing the career.I had no trouble with any of the songs on expert guitar.

This can be done during the guitar or drum career if you are good enough. This game is much easier than guitar hero or rock band, however, the star power/overdrive doesn't help you recover as it does in the other two games.
If you are having trouble you can do this by playing every song on expert bass in quickplay.
