How to unlock the Stocked achievement in Rocket League - Definitive Guide
- Go to Exhibition
- Arena = DFH Stadium (any arena will do though)
- Team Size = 1v1
- Bot Difficulty = No Bots
- Go into Mutator Settings and change "Max Score" to 1 Goal
- Create Match
- Choose either team
- Just hold your boost right off the start going directly at the ball, just as you are about to hit the ball brake (milliseconds before, this is just to prevent the ball hitting the crossbar instead of going in)
- Skip the highlight, hit ok or equip on the item you unlocked then hit ready to rematch the bot
With this method each match only takes 20 seconds or so (including loading) so it would only take about an hour going from exactly 0 but you most likely saved this for later and already have a lot of items unlocked so it won't even take that long. Enjoy!
So now that Rocket League has gone free-to-play, the way items are collected is different than the system that the posters of these others solutions experienced. Now you can only really earn items from drops, which are earned from challenges and the Rocket Pass. This can take awhile especially if you don't want to spend money.
However I discovered today that if you trade with another player, the items you receive from them count as "collecting" progress (not blueprints, though). This makes this grind extremely quick to boost, as you can just trade a bunch of items back and forth with another player.
Only thing I should note is that a couple weeks ago when I tried trading, it gave me an error saying that we needed to spend money in the store before unlocking the ability to trade. IDK what that was about because I haven't spent any money, but we are suddenly allowed to trade.
Doing this, it's possible to get about 3 match completions per minute. Conversely, if you still need to go for the 500 km trophy, crank the time to unlimited and just drive around.
Just an update on this trophy: When last I checked 11/11/2015, the number of matches that needed to be completed had increased to 191 due to new items. According to the v1.13 patch notes, this number should have been reduced back down to 150 matches. (Thanks to DRedWingsDJY for letting me know)
Latest DLC with Hot Wheels gives you 4 items.
1# You need is to delete your save game from xbox and cloud.
2# Now play 4 Exhibition games and 4 new item are count to the Achivement.
3# Reapet 1&2 until you have 100%
For me from 85% now have 93% and still counting.
Good Luck
Challenges are accessible via when in the main menu. Once you have completed a challenge you need to go and manually claim it. Unsurprisingly, these are claimed by selecting the Claim button.
UPDATE: You can get some with seasons now. But that is only 3 for each of 4 stages (so 12) over a 77 day period. About 1 a week so about the same rate as the weekly challenges. For me, in the F2P era we are now in, the quickest way to get items is Tournaments. Build up your Tournament Credits by playing in Tournaments (obvious, right?) via PLAY then TOURNAMENTS then the SCHEDULE tab. The further you get the more credits. Best 3 results that week means even more credits. Buy items from the REWARDS tab. It is a random item but if you don't care what you receive then it doesn't matter. As specified in the comments, you can trade to increase the number of items ever owned but only if you either played before F2P or you have bought credits.
FIXED:
200 seems like it will take a while.
There are 5 ways to unlock items:
1. Challenges: When you start the game for the first time, you will be able to unlock a small number of items for completing the New Player Challenges (these can be done offline). Beyond these, you will get new challenges every season which you must complete online. Most of these give you XP rewards which go towards your Rocket Pass rank, but some of them reward you with random item drops.
2. Rocket Pass - This is by far the quickest and easiet way of unlocking a lot of items, but there is a catch. You can play the game for free and unlock random drops everything few levels, however, if you buy 1000 credits and pay for the Premium Pass, you will unlock an item at nearly every single level (up to 100) on top of the free rewards.
3. Online Post-Game Drops - After every few online matchmade games (not private matches), you will receive a random item (usually a blueprint). This method works well alongside levelling up your Rocket Pass rank.
4. Item Shop - The Item Shop usually has 7 or 8 items on sale for credits (cheapest item is usually 100 credits). There are usually bundles of items that you can buy and, on rare occasions, you can gain free items as part of events/promotions.
5. Psyonix Scheduled-Tournament Rewards: Psyonix host tournaments every few hours which everyone can join regardless of rank, experience or party size. When you play in this mode, you earn a new type of currency that can unlock items from a much smaller pool of items. If you win 1 game, you will earn about 1500 tournament credits, which you can use to unlock 1 reward. The more games you win, you more credits you earn. If you reach Gold rank in Competitive, you can unlock items from the Gold Cup pool for 4000 tournament credits.
Extra Method - Trade Boosting
For those of you who don't what to play the game for longer than you have to, you can boost this achievement with another friend. However, due to the trade restrictions that Psyonix introduced to combat against scammers and bots, you must met some requirements before you can trade (including purchasing at least 500 credits, being rank 30 and having at least 50 minutes of online play).
Simply pick a bunch of items from your inventory and trade with your friend. Have them trade those items back. Whenever you receive items (even those that you just traded), the game recognises these as new, meaning that you can simply trade the same 10 items over and over until you reach 200.
I personally recommend doing this last along with the 500km trophy.
At one point you might realize that you don't unlock any more items, because you might have unlocked everything that you can unlock by f.e. playing exhibition matches without bots.
I was missing only one item and that was the "MOAI" antenna. You can't unlock it via exhibition matches. Instead you will have to enter the KONAMI CODE at the screen that asks of you to "PRESS X TO START THE GAME".
The KONAMI CODE is as follows:
Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right START/OPTIONS
Note: fastest way exhibition
This will come naturally as you play online, Season, or Exhibition. I highly suggest you spend time enjoying what Rocket League has to offer as it's an extremely unique and amazingly fun game. If you want to get your items quickly though, use the method below.
To speed the process of unlocking these items up you can use Exhibition.
Load up an Exhibition game with these settings:
Arena/Map: Any
Team Size: 1v1
Bot Difficulty: No Bots
Mutator Settings: Max Goal = 1
Now you can pick any team you want (it will only be you) and simply make a goal which will end the match immediately. This method is very fast and can unlock an item every minute or two.
This will also unlock these achievements:
Here's a visual reference as to how easy and fast it is to create and finish an Exhibition map for this achievement:
Worked for me on 11/11/2023
Also works for the achievement of 50 items.
After you’re done with getting all the ‘start’ items I’d say you’ve collected around 54 items. barely unlocking Drops on the Bucket.
Go on settings then more then redeem code ‘popcorn’ then you get another item. Now you’re at 55 items.
These are all the solutions I’ve got to get the other 145 items FOR FREE are:
—> Tournament drops (ALWAYS open the 1200 tournament points drops so you get more items). To participate in a tournament you need to get a rank on a competitive playlist (extra modes don’t count, ONLY 3v3, 2v2 and 1v1. To be able to get a rank you need Level 10 aswell.
—> Rocket pass drops. They are given for free by the player as you play the game but there are only around 12-13 drops scattered through each pass and between each drop on the pass there is a 12-level distance so you need to get 12 levels for one drop.
—> Events. There are 2-4 Events on Rocket League that occur yearly. 2 of them occur on specific periods (Halloween and Christmas event). Haunted Hallows starts at mid October and finishes at the end of October or start of November. Frost Fest starts at mid December and ends at start of January. Each Event awards the player 11 items + 5 drops which equals a total of 16 items. The other event can occur on July-August (Radical Summer) but that event hasn’t made a comeback since 2019. The same goes for the Spring Fever event, that hasn’t came back since 2018.
—> Free items through the item shop. Some free bundles can appear yearly on Rocket League and one bundle I’m sure that will come is the LGBT Pride bundle which comes for free for the player that is purchasable for the entire month of June. It usually awards the player 4 items.
—> TRADE UP. Even though you are kind of losing items, the tracker for the achievement still goes up. YOU DON’T NEED TO HAVE 200 ITEMS. Only COLLECT 200 Items. DO NOT TRADE UP BLUEPRINTS!!! THEY DON’T COUNT AS AN ITEM.
—> RLCS Streams. Every RLCS Season are streamed on Twitch. Linking your account to the Rocket League Esports site will make you able to get items by watching the RLCS on Twitch. ALSO Don’t forget to link your xbox account directly to twitch aswell.
The main RLCS channels are:
But there’s a price to pay. Every RLCS Weekend they add 4 drops which equals 4 items: First drop is obtained by watching 2 hours. The next 3 ones are 4 hours.
By the way. not every stream they make there are drops activated. But one thing I’m sure of is that the drops are activated on RLCS streams. I honestly don’t know when the next RLCS Season is starting.
IF YOU’RE OK FOR WASTING MONEY ON THIS GAME:
—> Buy the Rocket Pass. It costs around $10 dollars and awards the player a ton of items. Plus, there isn’t an end to the pass so you can keep going leveling up and get new items until the season ends. PROTIP: DO NOT BUY THE PASS IF THE SEASON IS ENDING!!! Buy it on the start of the next season.
—> If you’re sure you can get this achievement by the end of the Season, you can waste your credits you get on the rocket pass on building your blueprints (which doesn’t count as items, by the way). Select the cheapest blueprints you have, I’d recommend to build the Rare blueprints aka the lowest rarity, the price ranges from 50-100 credits and 150 credits if the item is white. DO NOT BUILD BLUEPRINTS THAT ARE ABOVE VERY RARE RARITY.
—> USE THE ITEM SHOP. Alternatively to the blueprint method if you don’t have Rare blueprints buy items from the shop BUT only buy items that are either Uncommon or Rare items and make sure they are not painted or you’ll pay a bit more (Certified items only are the same price as the unpainted items). DO NOT BUY ITEMS THAT ARE ABOVE VERY RARE RARITY.
This trophy's requirements have been changed as of the latest update from having to earn all items, to just 150.
By completing games, you unlock items to customise your Battle-Car with, such as decals, paint and ‘toppers’, which are essentially hats. There hundreds of items in the game with all of the updates installed, so you won't have to unlock everything.
Unfortunately as of the Free To Play update Items are a lot harder to come across as you no longer unlock a standard item every game. You will occasionally unlock items through the free Rocket Pass, though this too is uncommon unless you purchase the Rocket Pass Premium (1000 credits, which will set you back $10 or equivalent). You’ll also get some items for completing challenges, especially when events are ongoing.
The easiest way to do this trophy however is to trade with other players, especially those who played before the F2P switchover. If you trade the same items back and forth between you, this trophy will eventually unlock. Unfortunately, to unlock trading, unless you played the game before F2P, you must purchase at least 500 credits. It’s recommended to purchase the Starter Pack (for $5 or equivalent) as it is the cheapest option and will also assist you with some DLC trophies. If you’re not willing to spend money to speed things up, you’re looking at a long road to platinum. If you’re looking for someone to trade with, check out the trophy boosting thread on this forum:

The trophy will unlock as soon as you obtain 150 items.
Items to collect include Vehicle Bodies, Decals, Paints, Wheels, Rocket Trails, Toppers, and Antennas. Using the Mutator Settings mentioned in the Roadmap, you will unlock a new item after every game you play.
