How to unlock the Registered Voter achievement in Rocket League - Definitive Guide

Trouble with unlocking the achievement?

1. Switch profiles to a guest from the main menu by pressing 'cn_back'.
2. Accept the rules by scrolling 'cn_down' and pressing 'cn_A'.
3. Switch back to your main profile from the main menu by pressing 'cn_back' again. I signed out that guest from the guide before pressing any button to start.
4. Select 'Play Online', 'Find Match' by pressing 'cn_A' twice and then 'Arenas' by pressing 'cn_Y'.
5. Use all available votes on any arenas and repeat this in every playlist from the left column. Pressing 'cn_A' once to like, twice to dislike, and a third time resets the choice.

Pop!

EDIT (12 May 2017): The “Registered Voter” achievement has been reported to be fixed after v1.34 patch release. I will leave my solution up just in case.

You can now find this at: Play > Select any option > press up on the D-Pad and click on Arenas > Press A to vote on each map.

Simple simple simple go to play online and select any game and Y to arenas and just click like,unlike n clear on few arenas POPS!

Super easy.

Once game boots, go to find match, Hit 'cn_Y' to select your arenas, give thumbs up on all maps you like, by selecting them and hitting 'cn_A' once, Hitting 'cn_A' twice will dislike, and hitting 'cn_A' three times will clear it.
Once four maps are liked and two are disliked the cheevo will pop.

Edit: You may need to select the global playlist on the right to reset any previous likes and dislikes.

Didn't pop for me either. I'm getting really sick of all the glitched achievements by this developer. I'm not giving them another dime until they get their s**t together.

What Siberian mentioned above worked for me. Tried to do just the global playlist and it didn't pop. Went through each individual playlist and it still didn't pop. Went back to global playlist and changed a vote which then popped the achievement

if u have any maps already setup for likes and dislikes just reset the global and it should work after.

For those having issues, make sure that your achievement section of the guide actulaly has downloaded the achievmeents. to do this, hard reset your console by holding your finger on the xbox one console's power button for five seconds until it force-shutdowns. Then reload.

I tried everything posted here. I already cast every single vote 20 times. FREAKING NOTHING. Fuck this game and this dev, there hasn't been a single release for this without achievement glitches.

Switch profiles to a guest, accept the rules, back to your main (I signed out that guest from the guide before pressing start) and then use all likes and dislikes.

just got it to unlock for me a little bit ago without glitching out. I noticed that I had 6 total votes and once I used all 6 (4 likes/thumbs up) and two dislikes (thumbs down) the achievement popped right away....hope this helps some ppl cheers:-)

For other people having problems, I followed all the other suggestions with no luck. I did a hard reset (unplugged xbox for 30), it still didn't work, so I did a couple of the dropshot achievements, then came back to this one and it decided to work.

TL;DR try to do some of the other achievements and then come back to this one.

For the people who are having issues with this achievement even after trying all the suggestions, here is another to add that worked for me (I tried all the rest to no avail).

Try activating the DLC by getting any other achievement on the list first then go for this one. I went for "Damage Control" first and then this and it popped (Also, make sure Global is selected). I was going crazy before then.

I've done this and it isn't popping for me. I even used all my votes on every single map in every single playlist.

EDIT: Went back and locked the other playlists, used all my likes and dislikes on Global playlist, and then pressed cn_A on the Global playlist and the achievement popped.

I had the same issue, it didn't pop so I did some other achievements then came back and clear/liked one and it popped straight away.

This achievement is quite easy,

5. Dislike the max amount of maps.

The achievement should now be unlocked and you can clear your votes at this point if you do not wish to actually vote.

The process for this one has just changed due to the big Epic Games update for Rocket League.

To unlock this achievement, it's quite simple.

1. Go to Play Online
2. Hit the Y Button
3. Pick any 6 maps listed, it doesn't matter

the achievement should pop after that

Go to Find Match and BEFORe you search hit cn_T for areas and use all your votes. After it shows no more likes and dislikes, trophy will pop

Most likely the easiest achievement in the game, all you need to do to gain this achievement is to go to 'PLAY ONLINE' > 'FIND MATCH' and then at the bottom left of the pop up that'll come up you'll see 'ARENAS'.
Simply just vote on random maps, giving a like and dislike to maps, when you use all of your likes and dislikes you'll gain the achievement. You can remove the votes afterwards if you want to.

The UI has been changed a bit recently so none of the previous solutions were accurate anymore, updated steps:

1. Launch Game to Main Menu
2. Choose' Find Match'
3. Choose 'Extra Modes'
4. Choose 'Arenas' on the top right
5. D-pad right to hover over the maps in the Global section.
6. Click "X" on 5 or more maps to like them
7. Click 'X' on 5 or more maps to dislike them

Please note that this trophy, requires you to be connected to the Rocket League servers before the 'Arena Preferences' menu can be accessed.

Arena preferences is a selection of the 'maps' available in game. On this screen you can 'like' or 'dislike' a map and that arena will the have a higher or lower chance of appearing in your playlists when searching for public matches via matchmaking. Below is a list of all the available arenas as of the v1.31 patch, excluding the various weather types.

Arenas:

RED = Arena removed from playlist
GREEN = New arena variant

Standard Maps:

  • DFH Stadium
  • Urban Central
  • Mannfield
  • Mannfield (Night) - Added with the Dropshot update. Note: This map does not show up within the 'Arena Preferences' menu as it is a variant of the original Mannfield map.
  • Beckwith Park
  • Utopia Coliseum
  • Aquadome

Alternate maps:

  • Wasteland
  • Neo Tokyo - (Removed with the Dropshot update)
  • Starbase ARC

Rocket Labs:

  • Pillars
  • Cosmic
  • Double Goal

Dropshot Exclusive:

  • Core 707 - Note: This is a game mode specific arena and won't show up within the 'Arena Preferences' menu.


To earn this trophy you need to be at the Main Menu. From here, select "Play online" then "Find match". Upon doing this, a side menu will open and show all the playable game modes. Now press button to open the "Arena Preferences" menu. To use all of your votes, hover over your favourite maps then press once on each to mark them as Liked then highlight 2 maps you don't like and press twice to dislike them. The trophy will pop once all 6 votes have been used.

From the main menu select PLAY ONLINE, and then FIND MATCH. When a menu appears on the right side of the screen, hit  for arena preferences. From here, I believe you will have four Likes and two Dislikes available. To Like a map, simply press  on it. To Dislike a map, press  twice. And to clear your vote, press  three times (once after Dislike).
