How to unlock the Epic Session achievement in Rocksmith 2014 - Definitive Guide

This is the exact same as the Jam-a-thon trophy, only longer. The trophy description might be misleading for you as you cannot just start a session mode and do something else, you have to keep the band playing for 60 consecutive minutes. Choose any band and scale and play anything for an hour. Just strum one or all strings as long as the band keeps playing. For me the trophy unlocked 59 minutes and 20 seconds after first making the band play.

The trophy is not cumulative. You need to play for a whole hour in the “Session” mode, i.e. You cannot leave the screen where the actual session is taking place.
