How to unlock the The Lost Arch achievement in Rocksmith 2014 - Definitive Guide

See the quote under Who Needs a Dog? for additional information.

To do well in this game using bends, you will need good ears. You will start with a color that represents a string (red=E, yellow=A etc.) and a character that runs back and forth on a platform. A number is placed next to each platform. You must bend exactly a half step up from that number. For example if the number is 9, you must bend from the 9th fret and bend till it sound like you would play normally on the 10th fret. If you bend too much you will advance very slowly, if you bend under a half step the bend will not register and you will only lose the time it takes to bend twice. Continue bending until you reach the platform with another color, for example blue (= D-string). Then bend the D-string on the fret showed inside the blue colored box. You will gain a combo and additional time. Sometimes you will see an extra big gap between the platforms. You will then need to bend a whole step (two frets) to advance.

You shouldn't attempt this until you have a "mission-combo" of x7. Considering you only play one string at the time, bass or guitar doesn’t really matter. Bending perfectly can be very difficult, therefore I suggest you ignore bending and slide instead. Instead of bending on the 9th fret, so it sounds like the 10th, simply slide from 9th to fret 10th. If your guitar is perfectly tuned this should guarantee you to get a perfect length of the "bend" every time. When there is a bigger distance, slide two frets up. You can slide/bend to the next platform as soon as you previous slide/bend is registered.

In this mini-game you will become Indiana Jones and escape from the cave In fact, you will have to pull the strings to climb higher from the bloodthirsty piranhas or, on the contrary, to go down from the thorns from the ceiling. Leveling up x10, everything is as usual. Basic tips:

  • Learn the pull-up technique. Understand how it works.
  • Play calmly and level up to x7, then you can go for the trophy.
  • Hold the kombu and don't tighten it more than necessary.
  • There are two types of suspenders in the game: short, half-step and wide. Watch the distance between platforms.
  • On the platform with the stone, we pull the string on the fret indicated there - it’s better not to miss them!
  • It's easier on the bass guitar.
  • You can turn off the sound so as not to disturb you.
From myself: not a particularly difficult mini-game, the main thing is technique, and then after the 20th attempt it will fall out on its own.

The most difficult Mini-game in RockSmith!!! Because This game has unbalanced bonuses Not only does it recognize “bands” very poorly (you need perfect technology!), but you also get the multiplier only after reaching the temple, and the ceiling drops too quickly. (Compared to speed in other games)
PS we reach level 10 and download the multiplier further

Everything is much simpler than it seems. Like the first Rocksmith, this mini-game recognizes the slide as a pull-up, making the process ridiculously easy. For example, if the game asks to play a small pull-up on the 8th fret, we play a slide from 8 to 9 or even without a slide - just two notes in a row: 8, followed immediately by 9. The small pull-up is a semitone (the next fret), the big pull-up is a tone (one fret higher up the neck). The multiplier and collecting crystals will help a lot, of course, but playing on time and without mistakes is much more important. Good luck!
