Better Than An Encore?
Qualify for a Double Encore
22.5%
How to unlock the Better Than An Encore? achievement in Rocksmith - Definitive Guide
This cheevo will be awarded for performing a 2nd encore during a performance.
To qualify for a 2nd encore you must perform fairly well at all the set list songs and the encore.
Now the more you practice the harder the game becomes which means this cheevo gets a little more difficult for those of us that are not that good or just starting out.
Now there is a rather simple way of getting this.
Play normal and get the practice in and dont worry about this cheevo for a while and try to practice and get your skills up.
Now when you decide your skills are up to the challenge start the game again with a new save file either on a diffrent hard drive/ usb memory card or you can do what i did and delete your original save data (only recommended for those like me who wanted to start again from the beginning)
Because you start from a new save file the game will treat you as a complete beginner.
Play the first set of songs in reherse mode and then do the performance.
The songs in the performance should be
(Icant get no)Satisfaction ~ The rolling stones
I got mine ~ The black keys
The encores will be random, i personally had
Smoke on the water ~ Deep purple (1st encore)
Afterlife ~ Avenged sevenfold
Because the game treats you as complete beginner the adaptive difficulty wont keep up with your skills and after the 1st encore you should get the cheevo just before the 2nd encore begins.
Hope this helps and have fun

LOL personally I wouldn't consider it cheating, more like thinking outside the box.
I only discovered this as I hadn't played this game for a few weeks and was so out of practice I deleted my game saves and started from the start again and got the 2nd encore very easily.
Glad I could help you out.

You're "simple way" qualifies as cheating, but after playing this game for over half a year without ever getting a second encore, it came very handy ;-)
Thank you!
Thank you!

This achievement is based on your performance of the set you're playing and the first encore. I earned it on the first set of the game, after doing okay on the first two songs, but 100% on the first encore.

It could be random, and it just popped up for me early. But as I was playing the game, that is how I assumed I earned it.

First, you must qualify for the first encore. See My 1st Encore to learn how to qualify for an encore. Now, unlike the first encore, the requirement for a double encore is based on percentage of notes hit. You need to hit 90% of the notes in your encore song to qualify for the double encore.
In addition to unlocking this trophy, you will unlock 1 of 6 rare bonus songs for qualifying for a double encore. The final bonus song is the Star Spangled Banner.
Just do well on the Encore, and you should get a second encore to play and this achievement.

You need to play the set of songs of the event well to start the first encore (score 120% of the qualifying points). If the first encore plays very well (more than 90% of the qualifying points), there is a 50% chance that the second encore will be launched. At the beginning of its execution they will give a trophy. Also, completing double encore will open a new song in the menu. Hidden tracks unlocked by completing double encore:
- Ricochet by Brian Adam McCune
- Boss by Chris Lee
- Space Ostrich by Disonaur
- Jules by Seth Chapla
- The Star Spangled Banner by Seth Chapla
- Six AM Salvation by Versus Them

and I wouldn’t make it so difficult to get a trophy with all sorts of mathematical calculations. For example, I received it very quickly, at the third event, without straining at all.
the only secret is that when the first anchor appears, you need to concentrate and play it as carefully as possible. if your fingers have already managed to run along the gyrph, then there will be no problem in getting it.

When playing bass, you can easily take on a second encore. And there is no need to “suffer” with the guitar.
